And to be honest, in my opinion, shouldn't be dealing with the general public on any level. Second person spoken to was Fred, he too was questionable, he was asked about looking at a pickup with braking issues (and as advertised) FREE BRAKE INSPECTIONS, however, we were turned down flat, reason given, because work done on the pickup wasn't performed by a certified dealer. In such cases, if a repair shop in the state of California is concerned about being held liable for doing a free brake inspection, then you go the route of signing a waiver of liability. Bill Smith would undoubtedly be embarrassed by such action, and ashamed for not doing the right thing here, and that is standing by and servicing a potential customer. Bill Smith automotive came highly recommended by a business that services its fleet of vehicles at this very shop, word is out. This shops business practices seem more a long the lines of shadyness if I'm being honest, even slightly on the paranoid side. However, they came out with a small car jump battery like the one you can get from Amazon for 50 bucks. They were not able to jump start my car and told me to call AAA. I was recommended by a local so I took my car here. Otherwise I was going to Autozone down the street instead. I ended up calling AAA battery service and was told it was just a bad battery needing replacement, NOT the alternator. Good thing I called AAA for help instead. In addition, AAA still charges less than 300 for the battery replacement and offers 3 years warranty.

You will get the best customer service experience you have ever had, and I can promise you, IF by some chance something isn't what you want, they WILL work to resolve it. There is never a need to put a negative review for them, I know for a fact, they will go to the end of the earth to resolve anything, they are on your side. Case in point, my 2013 needed valve cover gasket, new radiator and other things. 3K of repairs. But I have a purchased warranty. So in all cases your mechanic has to call them and get the repairs approved. They approved the radiator but not the 2K for the valve stuff. Brian called me to notify me about this.. Remember he was on the phone with them for quite some time, on hold, then the adjuster, etc.. So I called, same answer. Urghh!!! Brian suggested another way to approach it and offered to try.
