To my surprise, Jeff Caruso actually answered the phone when I called. I explained my situation to Jeff and he fit me in the next day! He was very personable and put my wife and I at ease right away with his knowledge and professionalism. Whatever the appraisal value, we were comfortable knowing it would be accurate. When we received the appraisal report, we knew we were right. The report is extremely detailed with numerous pictures showing the condition of the house and the cost of the report was very fair. Not only did their appraisal almost kill our deal but they used little explanation in their notes to learn why our appraisal came in below value. Would not recommend for any investors. Stay away!

Whoever they have working for them is not knowledgeable about homes or the housing market. The research they do on "comparable homes" is an absolute joke. And do not even try to find the actual comparable homes yourself because they will have any excuse in the book as to why they can't use those. They low ball the appraisals as if we are still in the same market 3 years ago. They mislabeled rooms in our house and even told us we do not have a finished basement when we do. Whatever you do, do NOT hire this company. I do not know how they are even in business or getting their licenses renewed.
