Dr. Sorokin gave me the breast I dreamt of my whole life! I found him on google one day when I was searching for Breast Augmentation before/afters...I knew he was the Surgeon I wanted when I browsed his work on his website. The entire process was easy, I emailed back and forth with the staff and with Dr. Sorokin with questions I had about the procedure, size, down time and different styles of implants. The day I went in for surgery was a relieving day!!! I had all this anticipation and nervousness until the moment I walked into the office to have surgery. I knew I was in good hands with professionals who care about their patients and who put the extra time into discussing goals, making sure everything is in order and you're comfy. My sister brought me in she drove me home after and for about two days helped me up from bed. The recovery process was easier than anticipated. When Dr. Sorokin told me I'd only need the weekend I didn't believe it but it's TRUE!! By the third day I was feelin great doing household chores! This is a review for the med spa - specifically, for Emma (the receptionist) and Alese (the aesthetician). First off, scheduling an appointment was a breeze. I didn't have to wait on hold and they were able to see me pretty quick. Emma is super friendly and sweet. Nobody tried to upsell me on procedures I don't need. Alese is efficient, knowledgeable, thorough, and attentive. She has a fantastic bedside manner. The procedure I had (microneedling) can be quite uncomfortable, but I stayed distracted from the pain with a fun conversation and before I knew it, we were done. I think that a good medspa is one that you can leave a 5-star review for when nothing goes wrong, but that a GREAT spa is one for which you're happy to rate 5 stars even if things didn't go as planned. In my case, my skin had an mysterious, unsatisfactory reaction to this particular microneedling session. I want to stress that this was not the fault of the spa. Alese did the procedure with utmost expertise and excellent technique. I would see her again in a heartbeat for the same exact procedure. But because the outcome was kind of a bummer for me, I contacted the spa to see if there was some way to remedy the situation. They totally didn't have to meet me halfway on this. They were well within their right to be like "sorry but we performed the service you requested, if you don't like the outcome that's not our problem, bye." But they listened to what I had to say with empathy and compassion, and we worked out something that left me feeling heard and resolved. I don't want this review to be seen as an invitation to scam the spa by finding frivolous reasons to complain, and hoping that they'll roll over and offer some make-good because "the customer is always right." That's not the kind of place this is. They're not chumps and they stand by the quality of their work. But if you do find yourself in some sort of unusual, unlucky situation following a procedure, just know that this isn't the kind of place that will slam the door in your face and pretend that you don't exist. Great fillers/Botox! Do your homework and only use a board certified plastic surgeon! I love Dr. Sorkin and his staff. Always professional and courteous. !! IF YOU ARE NERVOUS ABOUT FILLERS PLEASE READ THIS!!! I don't usually write reviews unless it is something I feel very strongly about. I am in my mid 40's and like most of your average moms nervous to get anything done to my face. I have had my lips get thinner and some "jowls" develop that were really making me feel and look older than I was feeling. Dr. Sorokin and staff took a lot of time to make me comfortable and answer my excessive amount of questions about what I wanted to fix and how I wanted it to look. After about 15 minutes of calming my nerves Dr. Sorokin started and told me exactly what he was doing as he was doing in. There was very minimal pain because of the numbing cream that was put on. After he was done Dayna stayed in the room with me for about 5 more minutes until Dr Sorokin came back in. He held the mirror up so I could see what was done and it was me again!!!! Not over done just me about 10 years ago. I could not be happier with the results and now I look how I feel... great. I don't even know where to begin. Dr. Sorokin is by far one of the best Dr's I have ever been too. I had a "mommy make over" done in July and from the very start he took the time to get to know me. He addressed any concerns I had thoroughly. I went to a few consultations prior to seeing Dr. Sorokin and none of them made me feel as comfortable as Dr. Sorokin. His entire staff is wonderful. You feel as if your going to visit friends rather than being in a Dr's office. Also, Dr. Sorokin truly cares for his patients. A few weeks after my "mommy make over" I started experiences gallbladder pains. He instructed me to go to the ER which is where I found out that I needed to have my gallbladder removed. He reached out to the surgeon to discuss my previous surgery and he also followed up with me multiple times to see how I was doing and how my recovery was going. You don't see many Dr's personally reaching out to you on a weekend to see how your doing from a different surgery. That to me says a lot about Dr. Sorokin. I am a senior citizen years old and have 4 children. I exercise and keep my weight down but I still had a very saggy tummy. I love Dr Sorkin and his entire staff! I had a botched breast augmentation about 15 years ago and finally had enough of looking freakish, so I did my research and found several doctors in the area, with Dr Sorokin being the last consultation. The other doctors just didn't have the bedside manner I was looking for. I felt rushed to make a decision and in many cases, was only given 15 minutes to ask questions before a nurse was knocking on the door, ending our consultation. Not the case with Dr Sorokin. I had my surgery several years ago, but not a day goes by when I am not happy about my procedure. I spent my entire 20's feeling like a weirdo with huge, overfilled, and lopsided implants. Dr Sorokin performed a reduction and a lift and I am happy to say that other than scarring and opening of the incisions (totally my fault for doing too much too soon), I have perfect breasts! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! He may be great for cosmetic surgery and act like a concerned doctor when you are giving him thousands of dollars but in terms of fillers and simple cosmetic procedures, he treats you like you are a waste of his time. I chose Dr. Sorokin because of the great reviews I read about him online (and I had gone to him a few times just for botox) - I needed filler under my eyes, which is obviously a very sensitive spot and takes great skill and care in order to do correctly so I didn't want to just go to the cheapest place I could find. The procedure itself was highly unusual in that he rushed through it and was done in less than 5 mins, didn't massage the area AT ALL, nor did he even give me a mirror to look at it myself! I've had filler under my eyes 2 other times with another doctor and this was nothing like those experiences. After I got back in my car, I checked it myself in my mirror and there was a large lump under my right eye. It looked terrible but I sat there for 20 mins trying to convince myself it was just injection site swelling and would go down /dissipate after a few days. Nope. A week later and BOTH of my eyes had significant lumps underneath them, I looked like a punching bag (I have pics if anyone wants to see them) and there was a mark with some blue tint (that I initially thought was a bruise but turns out it wasnt) from wehre it was placed too superficially. I had to wear my glasses for the next 2 weeks just to hide it, including over my entire labor day weekend vacation at the beach, which sucked. I called his office finally to express my concerns and demanded an appt as soon as possible to come back in and get it dissolved (the receptionist initially told me the doctor had said to "just massage it"...which is ridiculous b/c any good doc knows massaging it 2+ weeks later has very little, if any, effect on filler, needs to be done in first 24 hours). When I got back in there, he came into the room and was immediately defensive and dismissive and basically told me I don't get a refund, he refused to acknowledge the poor result was due to his poor technique and defiantly refused to even acknowledge the LUMPS staring him in the face! His words were "Yeah, there's some swelling there." I was so upset I didnt even bother arguing with him, just wanted to get out of there. So upsetting and disappointing that a doctor takes your money, does a poor job in the service he's providing you and then refuses to acknowledge as such and shows no concern for a visibly upset young woman in his office whose face is clearly disfigured. It looks a little better since the lumps were somewhat dissolved but they are still visible and I now have to find another doctor and pay even more money to try to fix them (and of course now I'm paranoid and traumatized and terrified of another doctor messing it up further). Please find a more caring doctor, this guy only wants your money. If something goes wrong, I assure you, he won't take care of you and make it right. read more
