There is nothing exceptional about this place, there isn't anything wrong about it either - best described as average.
It can be a nice alternative to the other places at New Street station as for some reason its almost always empty. Competitively priced with with other establishments in the area with a selection of coffees, soft drinks, pastries and sandwiches, and conveniently enough beer and wine (that is unsurprisingly priced a little higher than usual).
The croissant tastes like a croissant you can buy from most places, I recall however trying a pizza slice once.
I wish there were more places that sold just a slice of pizza instead of needing to buy the entire thing even if its still a 'personal' size. But this slice of pepperoni pizza had a weird taste, it's hard to describe; it wasn't like anything I'd ever had before and to be honest I wouldn't try the pizza again.
With Grand Central Kitchen opening a 2 minute walk across from the station and serving pretty much everything Delice de France offer on there menu for a lower cost I can't say I would go here again unless I was in a rush. read more
