I've been a frequent customer of this Italian take-out since late 2023, after I had a baby and started needing a lot more convenient lunch and dinner options from time to time. My family really appreciates the quality and variety of offerings here, although we would tend to consider this to be a bit of a splurge since the prices are a little high compared to our other regular takeout spots.
I have tried on a fairly regular basis the eggplant parm, cannelloni al ragu and beef lasagna, and the side dish I have most often gotten is the tomato and mozzarella salad. The main dishes reheat well in the microwave (although I think they might prefer that you do it in the oven). For the cannelloni, for those with big appetites I would get at least 2 cannelloni per person, although I think a typical French portion would consist of just 1 per person (this has never seemed like enough to me and my husband though!).
Other offerings here include fresh pasta, charcuterie that can be sliced to order, and a wide array of antipasti (both vegetarian and not). Other than my regular selections, I have tried the arancini and the focaccia a few times and they were really good. For dessert they have little single-servings of panna cotta and tiramisu, as well as Italian cookies and cannoli.
All of the employees I've encountered here have been friendly and efficient. The shop is located in the heart of the Batignolles neighborhood, near the covered market. It is a little tricky to navigate the small space with a stroller, but doable. American Express accepted. read more
