Really unprofessional. I called to make an appointment with someone who specializes in curly hair. The day of the appt, I received a text confirmation with a different time than I had originally booked. When I called the salon to double check the time, the woman told me that they had changed both the time and the stylist. I would have liked to have received a phone call informing me of either of those changes. I canceled altogether and the receptionist made no apology whatsoever or offer for a solution. Absolutely love Dellaria! As a blonde, getting the right stylist can be hard. I started going to Paige years ago and will never go to another stylist. Her colors are absolutely amazing. I have requested every blonde phase and she has surpassed every Pinterest expectations I've shown her. For extensions, curls and updo's I have to recommend Val! My extensions look so natural that people don't believe when I tell them. Both Val's casual or formal curls and updo are perfect! She is quick, the styles last all day while still feeling light and not drenched in product. Both stylists are amazing, I couldn't recommend them more! read more

I had bought an Eversave to this salon and used it recently. The coupon was for a full-foil and I paid $60 for a $150 value. I enjoy getting my hair done so I thought this would be a good investment. I'd never been do a Dellaria salon before and I chose to go to the one at the North Shore Mall, which one, is weird its in a mall but my only option to go was a Sunday. They also have stores in other malls, so it was whatever. I hadn't heard anything bad/good about Dellaria before and I was hoping I'd come out okay. I had Kelly do my hair, she did a great job!!! I was a light/medium brown before I went in there and came out pretty much blonde, the way I was before I stupidly darkened my hair in December. It really like it a lot! Thanks Kelly! :-) She did a great job and was really friendly which is a plus when your putting your trust into someone you don't know, to do your hair. The salon itself, needs to be bigger. It was so cramped in there, I feel terrible for the stylists to have to work in that tight of conditions. It's pretty cool that they have the wash station built in right to their space; but overall this place is tiny. Another thing, the workers there had no idea about my coupon. They had to call a manager that wasn't there. I find that odd on the chain management itself, to not have let their employees know what they were offering clients? I find that really weird. It's not the employees fault, its management and I feel that is a little messed up. read more

Recently I visited this salon and I have mixed reviews. Pros: -I was taken on time for my appointment. -I am satisfied with my hair. -The salon was clean. -I was the only client the stylist was working on. -My hair was done in a timely manner. Cons: -No price was given at consult. -A bit pricey for what I got done. - The whole time I was in the chair (1.5 hrs) the stylist did not talk to me but talked with other stylists and their clients. My last point was huge for me! Working in customer service, making a connection/ relationship is huge! I guess she didn't want a return customer... Overall I had a good experience but due to the price and friendliness of the stylist I most likely will go somewhere else. read more

I have gone here more than a dozen times and am always happy when I leave. Jen colors my hair and Hector cuts it. I have brown hair and Jen never ever leaves it looking brassy or orange. Another thing I love is that she foils my hair so that I do not look like a Zebra which I love. I give her 5 stars. I went to this salon after just feeling like my hair deserved a little trim and an up-lift. The hair cut itself was fine....my hair definitely was healthy, but the girl I had kept telling me about things NOT to do and why get my hair razored was a BAD idea. If I walk into your salon and ask you to do something, I think suggesting maybe an alternative way is a good thing, but take some creative liberties. This place definitely just does hair by the books. If youre used to going to a salon, sitting down with the hair dresser, having a consultation, this isn't the place. They don't do much to give you the pazzaz some woman need. But if you're looking for someone to cut your ends and give you a healthy look, this is the place for sure! read more

I have been to Dellaria a few times and they are wonderful. The staff is very nice and the facility is very clean, they are taking extra precautions to keep everyone safe during Covid. I came in to have my hair done by Rachel, with blonde hair it is difficult to achieve the color that you want so when I wasn't satisfied they offered to re do my hair for free. Rachel always does an amazing job, and the manager Leanne was very kind and professional when I called about my issue. They really go above and beyond to keep their clients happy! read more

I've had a few haircuts since salons reopened. Dellaria @ North Shore Mall has very professional and safe protocols in place from the time you enter. Temperature is taken, questions asked, masks worn & hand sanitizer provided. Plenty of social distancing between stations. Easy protected check out. The stylists are very skilled and personable. (I went to Gretchen and Kellie) However, the salon is very cold and I was freezing with a wet head. It also needs new paint and updating. After a not-so-great experience at another salon a couple of weeks ago, I needed an immediate color change. I called Dellaria and was so happy that I was able to get an appointment within the hour on a busy saturday afternoon. Koleen did my color- involved toning down the color I had just put in at the other salon, as well as adding the new highlights that I originally wanted. The color was great! It was exactly what I wanted- a caramel/honey colored highlights on my dark brown hair. Received an amazing wash, cut and blow dry from Tanya. I went in and needed an honest opinion as to whether a certain haircut was right for me - and she recommended a different hair style that I ended up absolutely loving. I hope she stays here because I NEED her to be my hair dresser for life. It had been a very long time since my last cut, but I can honestly say she gave me the best hair cut and blow dry I've ever received. I usually end up leaving salons with a blow dry that leaves my hair looking bulky and frizzy and doesn't compliment the hair cut at all, but she wasn't going to let me leave without making sure my hair looked spectacular. Terrible customer service - purchased hair conditioner and was told by the sales person that if I was not satisified, I could return the product with my receipt. I returned the product, unopened, the following day and was told no cash refunds - this policy was not posted anywhere and the sales person apparently was FIRED. I called and left messages for a manager and received no calls back. I ended up filing a complaint with my bank - I do have photos of the cash register area that does not have a return policy posted. read more

Scott colors and cuts my hair and he's the best there is! A few years ago my last stylist moved to Providence and I was at a loss. I went to a few different places here and there but I always hated the results. Scott saved me from hair hell! Many of the women I work with have started to see him as well. He also cut my boyfriend's hair for him right before my sister's wedding and it was the best cut he's ever had. I recommend him to everyone! While I'm praising them, I have to say that Amanda is great too. My sister got married a year ago and I was extremely stressed out the day before the wedding. I realized very early that morning that I was barely going to have time that day to do my makeup before the rehersal dinner let alone my hair! She fit me in at 9:30 am and did a quick updo for me. I didn't even bring in a picture and she did EXACTLY what I described to her. Everyone loved my hair and it gave me time to focus on other things that day (like finishing/practicing my toast!) I made an appointment with Stephanie to correct a color issue that I had in another salon. She was ready to take me on my arrival and took all the time needed in order to hear me and to fix my issue. She did an extremely good job and the color came out really good. She was also very knowledgeable when recommending products to my dry/frizzy hair.
