Due to material shortages, we got our supplies in March. This was expected, and Helen keeps us up to date on progress. We were notified when the permits were pulled and given an estimated date for scheduling the roof replacement. Everything went like clockwork until a manufacturing defect (NOT Hercules's fault) in the underlayment caused unforeseen issues. The company's owner came out to assure us they were expediting a resolution to the problem and took extra measures to ensure the roof was watertight until new material could be obtained. Hercules in no way was passing the buck and held themselves fully accountable. Mark, our job foreman, did an outstanding job keeping the wheel on the bus and moving the job forward. I know stuff happens; I've been there myself. Hercules handled it professionally and expeditiously. Every person my wife and I interacted with, from workers on the roof to company office staff, was kind and courteous. I highly recommend them for their trustworthiness, workmanship, customer service, and integrity. They are a rarity in today's world of contracting. We had our kitchen redone by Creative Kitchens a few years ago, after experiencing a mold issue. I…read morethought it was important to chronicle all of the issues we have experienced since their installation: Soon after the installation, the under cabinet lights stopped working. Calls to Creative Kitchens went unanswered. Finally had to pay a handyman quite a bit of money to fix the lights. The kitchen sink started leaking underneath. The person who repaired it said that the sink was installed improperly. The leak was especially upsetting to us, after we had experienced the mold issue due to a leak prior to the kitchen being remodeled. One of the drawers does not always close or reopen properly. Again, Calls to Creative Kitchens went unanswered. Several of the cabinets are not aligned properly. Again, Calls to Creative Kitchens went unanswered. Most recently, we experienced a leaky hose in our dishwasher. The repairman was unable to move the dishwasher in order to access the hose. It was later determined that this was due to Creative Kitchens installing the dishwasher on top of wet cement. It had to be detached with a drill. I would stay clear of Creative Kitchens based upon the above. Not only is their work substandard, but they do no stand behind it.

They removed the old tiles & the paper under the tiles down to the plywood and took away the old gutters also. They were neat and cleaned up at the end of each day. Any bad plywood on the roof was replaced with new wood. They were very thorough and efficient. New tiles were stacked on the roof. No heavy trucks were used on the driveway. No damage to property.
