Ordered some T-8 R17d replacement sockets from Omni Ray. First there was trouble processing the…read morepayment so shipment was delayed several weeks. They eventually shipped it vis USPS which took 12 days to arrive. When the sockets finally arrived they were the wrong type (single pin) vs. the two pin ordered. Multiple emails and phone calls go unanswered for a RA. This ordeal has caused a lengthy delay in a repair I need to do. I will not use Omni Ray Lighting in the future.

The mounting hardware could not possibly be any cheaper...the screws weren't long enough, and the retaining clips were poorly made plastic that would crack. Sure, the lights worked, but, the mounting hardware is cheap crap, Do like in DIY fashion I had to dig around in my junk and find something to use to mount barn lights. On to the recessed lights...he sent the wrong ones. I ordered ones that would screw into existing sockets, and be an easy install. Instead I get ones that require hardwiring in, as if initial install. I emailed Omni-Ray about this...nothing...emailed again, and get a reply saying they're sorry, and asking if I had a box....no kidding...you mean like the box you sent the wrongs ones in? Yes, I had a box. days go by...nothing...sent a third email...nothing.. They actually post this is an "American-based," business...as if we should be excited. But, inreality, if you dig, this guy's got his fingers in many pies, and this is a drop ship nightmare providing cheap Chinese crap. Stay away.
