The RA's and campus police don't do much to enforce the rules either. They also charge a lot of money and can't guarantee you a housing spot and won't refund the deposit if they don't give you housing because they over accept freshmen or others who live five minuets away who are living on campus instead of the people who live hours away. The laundry rooms have problems with the machines not working, not getting fixed, or people not being responsible and getting their laundry in a set time. This school only cares for their big four (Sports, teaching, nursing, business) as they don't care for their arts as much. Many departments are needing new professors and they aren't hiring them, instead they are adding/upgrading the signs around campus to bold signs that don't look all that good. The dining hall has really gross food and they taste like chemicals as well. The student workers at all dining locations seem to not g.a.s. The students tend to not g.a.s. about other students and during the week leading up to and the week of finals they still have tours and events that disrupt people in classes or studying. SVSU only cares about your money and not the student. The professors that I've had all care and try their best despite not getting paid the money they should.

They even walked me through what I had to do and registered me in my classes, one less hassle that I had to deal with. They are very sweet and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. The Saginaw location is mainly for the adult program (I believe). If there is a professor that Melissa thinks is horrible, she will tell you. They have a spot to brew coffee, microwave food and vending machines with pop and energy drinks and snacks. I highly recommend this school if you plan on going for some type of business/accounting/marketing degree.

I applied here for their online program, I live 2 hours away from…read moreDelta Community College, they made me miss a WHOLE days worth of work to go to their orientation why I needed to go to campus when I was doing online is beyond me) Once I got there I got a tour of the campus and seen my academic advisor. As soon as he arrived in the room, he told me they do not offer online for what I was wanting to go for, but yet it was on their website, and I had talked to someone on the phone previously to this orientation date, and I had emailed them as well, and all those sources had told me they do offer online. I would say FALSE ADVERTISMENT!!! I couldn't believe what I was hearing, because to me, I missed a day of work for this, and on top of all of this I had driven 2 hours to come see this place to get there and find out I was lead in the wrong direction! This is crud and I will never recommend anyone to go, I wouldn't put my time of day into that college. I am furious over this. 2 hour drive and money in my gas tank that I didn't have for nothing.
