However, since Prutch's took over the business, the prices have skyrocketed. Back in February 2020, I had a broken spring. A technician came out quickly and replaced both springs for $367.18--very fair and professional service. Fast forward to November 2024, same exact issue. This time, the first invoice was $165 just to clamp the broken spring (which only held up for a day). I was told someone would come back out, but no one did--and the technician on site wasn't even aware of the issue. Then came the second invoice: $706 to replace both springs. That's more than double the cost from just a few years ago. It felt like a serious case of price gouging, and I was ready to leave a 1-star review. However, after speaking directly with the owner, Garret, I felt heard. He was understanding about my long history with Kenny's and acknowledged that prices have changed significantly. He agreed that providing estimates upfront would be a good step, especially with such a big difference from previous rates. Because of that conversation, I'm updating my rating from 1 star to 4 stars.
