Sheets on the bed weren't changed from the previous guests. In the morning, we found in the bed a used ban-aid that did not belonged to either of us. No complaints about this Delta Hotel on the Saint John River in Fredericton. Nice view out the window when booked with a room on the river side of the building and it overlooked the large patio and outdoor pool. The wifi worked perfectly and the TV was a 55" and easy to use. We rented a movie for about $20 which was a fun addition to a great night spent here. We sneaked out late in the evening and snooped the event spaces which were numerous and obviously a significant part of this hotel's business. When zipping around in and out of our room, I was very happy with the elevators which had zero lag and were easy to use with the responsive card security system they have. The staff was super helpful when little things came up, so thumbs up there! Even though we were burning the candle at both ends that night, I squeezed in a quick dip in the outdoor pool after brunch before checking out and it was great! Water was warm and it was easy to find a towel at the indoor pool and then zip over and jump in for a refresher. Very cool that there is a dock at this hotel so if you arrive with your boat, there isn't a problem. And no boat? No problem! You can rent a peddle boat for a fun activity. Also there is a scooter rental spot on the side of the building so you can easily check out the trail system that runs along the river bank. Would love to go back and try that! The brunch at the restaurant was awesome! I got the revered New Brunswick style lobster roll, along with a seafood chowder and it was delicious! Friend got a granola cereal bowl, and fruit parfait and it was all excellent, including our table, right by the window by the patio area. We could have opted for eating outside in the glorious sunshine too. I asked our server to hang in there while I went for a quick dip in the pool when waiting for our order. We ended up bringing our stuff down to our table as the time dragged on past the 11am deadline since we were enjoying the moment. Coming back and having a view of the lake from your room just calms you like no other and the fact that the weather played into the lake defrosting helped a lot. The last time we came here there were no slippers, unfortunately - they still didn't have delta brand slippers, however, management bought slippers from a store and placed them in my room which is very thoughtful, along with a very nice card. Housekeeping is still a little hit or miss, some of the requests are perfect, extra shampoos were asked for but unfortunately forgotten. This is definitely a hotel that is comfortable and makes you feel like you're most welcome and at home. Ken at the front desk is always smiling and happy. Check this friendly hotel out. You won't be disappointed (unless you're coming here for the soaps and shampoos) LOL kidding :) 4/5 read more

Incredible location by the St John river. Great service at the front desk. Nice restaurant but very slow service. Nice Asian restaurant across the street with a great buffet. But the guest rooms are showing their age. Some power outlets don't work. The bathtub does not stay up and water collects. And there was no shampoo in the bathroom, just conditioner. read more

They have a great patio and allow you to order anything off any menu. The elevators are super fast and they have a decent gym. I like hotels that have free fruit in the lobby. The walk to the convention center is over 20 minutes but it's scenic. read more

Given an upgrade for an elite member... not much different except the view, which was nice, but would have rather had a nicer room. The room was very clean, the large TV was also nice, and the 24 hour pool is very convenient, but no hot tub sadly. Don't recommend the simple eats, super overpriced and not worth the price at all as the food is bland and just very mediocre. Ordered from them twice and found a long blonde hair in my food. The in house restaurant is okay, not amazing. If you're around in the area, go to the cabin for basic breakfast for a cheap price. Try Delish Rolled ice cream down the road. Try the diplomat next door, nice buffet for supper at $30/person. Also, no continental breakfast, but there is a breakfast buffet on the weekend, but not included. read more

Good location that is a short walk from downtown. We were greeted by a warm staff that arranged for an efficient arrival. The room was modern and had a lovely view of the water. They have taken extra care with the "look" of the hotel's lobby and outdoor pool/lounge/eatery. The outdoor space also includes a dock that is perfect for sunset views. They have a modern and relaxed vibe that sets the tone for a chill stay overall. read more

I waited for hubby to go to pool. The hot tub an sauna are gone but the gym looks bigger. We did not actually stay for pool or workout though. This afternoon I went to the bar for our free drink. I also had a salad. It was excellent. The bartender was attentive without being annoying. Nice relaxing mid afternoon break. Tonight there was wine tasting in the lobby with cheese kabobs or bacon wrapped shrimp. Even when I managed to spill my wine the server was so nice. Delta lives up to its professional reputation yet again. Check out was a breeze and we were on our way. Hope to be back soon. read more

Thin walls and slow service. Staying here five nights and for two nights they haven't been able to keep the noise down from a school trip on my floor gone wild. Woken up again at 230 AM from the kids running and yelling up and down the hall. Complained twice to management and begged their coach to get them to stop. No avail. Not worth the price. read more

A very nice hotel!!! It has gone through some renovations and is very clean and modern. The location of the hotel is spectacular. The sunset is so nice from the pool patio. Be careful when walking along the river - lots of mosquitos!!! The rooms have very high tech TV Connections so you can hook up anything to the TV. The pools are very nice. Great for kids. I ate in the bar in the lobby and watched the NBA finals. Food was excellent. The only complaint I had was that the walls seemed thin - I could hear people next door quite easily... especially when they were in the bathroom. I would definitely return and would recommend this place to everybody! read more

Stayed here for a couple of days. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant "Catch" was Ok. Rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. In room Internet worked fine and the room had a nice Large Flat Panel TV in it. I look forward to staying again in the future. read more

Omg this is the best hotel experience I think I've ever had! The rooms are newly renovated beautifully (see pics), its spotlessly clean, the free Internet is 100mbps/30mbps, the service is great, free little snacks in the signature club... and I just got late check-out (twice since I didn't know exactly what time at first) with zero hassle. Best hotel in Fredericton hands-down I couldn't recommend this place more and will absolutely be back when my journey takes me through Fredericton again. read more

Eating the banana dumpling for dessert -- wow! Impressive combination of berries along side the dumpling (it's kinda like a mini donut).

I have stayed here a few times now for the annual NB Whisky Show. With the renos now completed and changes to the food offerings thanks to a new head chef, this is one of the best places to stay I have found anywhere. The rooms are lovely - my room this year was on the 7th floor in one of the corners and was fabulous, with vaulted ceilings and lots of space, along with a lovely bathroom and the neat "smart desk" giving lots of connectivity choices. The service from all the staff members was simply outstanding as well, from front desk to restaurant to the bar. I ate here 3 times on this most recent visit and the food was a definite step up from past years. I cannot think of one single thing I would change. Well done! read more

I have been staying at Delta Fredericton for three days now. The room is clean and comfy. The check-in process has been quick and smooth. The restaurant has a good selection, and the quality of the food is excellent. On the first evening I felt I did not receive proper attention (because the restaurant was busy at that time). I mentioned this to my server, and she carefully passed it on to Chris, the manager. Chris went far and beyond to make me happy. These people really understand the value of their customers.
