2025 Delta Management Review I've given Delta Management stellar reviews for each and every project we've embarked upon together. I'm here to offer another. Over a year ago our house was hit by one of the twin tornados that blew their ways through Tallahassee. One of those tornadoes lifted up a tree, twisted it around and then sat it back down smashing our back porch and shattering our slate tile roof. It was havoc in our neighborhood. We called Stacey Bell the day after we got hit and she was there the next, taking charge from the get go of what was to come. She, with the help of her wonderful father John Bell, steered us through all the steps we had to take - guiding us through the insurance process, the historical district restrictions. Stacey took on the insurance paperwork herself. It took a half a year to get our back porch in order - it had to first be demolished. And then Stacey and John worked with us to bring it back better. The old porch was the original from 1934 and wonderful and funky but it had room for improvement. And that's what Delta Management did. They helped us sketch out a plan that echoed the footprint of the old porch but expanded it just a foot. And then slightly reenvisioned it so it was stronger, more beautiful, but still recalling the charm of its 1934 roots. It's beautiful. And then there was the roof. In part because we live in an historical district that it took a full year in a half before we were able to get our new roof. There are hoops you have to jump through. And I appreciate the necessity although it is a pain in the bottom. Stacey and Delta took that on as well, again guiding us through the endless paperwork. Our roof was 1935 diamond patterned slate (with asbestos of course). We had to replace it with something that fit the style and the history of that roof. We found it - a metal diamond patterned roofing material used for historical restoration. But man, it was a pull. It took forever to get the permitting from the historic district and the insurance. And then the materials were in shorter supply. But Stacey persevered and now we have one of the most beautiful roofs in the neighborhood. It makes our little cottage look like something from a story book. It's charming. And indestructible. It's obvious that we love Stacey, John and Delta Management. And for good reasons. They worked with us to imagine, plan, fight for and finish up so much of the work we've had done on our sweet, little cottage of a house. And they are fun to work with! They're the best. read more

Delta Management Review You really need to like the people you are working with when undertaking a project as long and involved as our bathroom renovation. We ended up not just liking all of the people in the Delta Management team -which in our case was Stacy Bell, her father John Bell and the amazing Melissa, who made up the last of the Delta triumvirate--but loving them. And, as we repeatedly told the three of them, we liked every single person they brought into our house to work on our new bathroom--the carpenters, the electricians, the plumbers, the tilers, the plasterers, the finishers-- people who have been working with Delta Management for decades. It became like one big happy, project-oriented family. Really. We came to like and trust every single person involved in this renovation so unreservedly that we could leave any of one of them with our keys when we couldn't be there to let them in or had to leave them to their work when we had to go to work ourselves. . We met with Stacy, John and Melissa many, many times as they helped us think about and draw up a dozen different bathroom layouts. They listened patiently as we made up and then changed our minds about how much bigger our bathroom addition was going to be; if it was going to have a window or not; if it was going to be tile or wainscotting; it we were going to go period or opt for something more modern--all those hugely major decisions that come with doing a not-inexpensive renovation. And they gave us the benefit of their considerable expertise. And they often went above and beyond--- in one case in particular they took on negotiations that were not part of their contractual agreement, sparing us a potentially difficult tussle l with a Canadian plumbing fixture company. Not to mention that Stacy and Melissa called an ambulance and then drove me to the hospital after I fell off a ladder while putting up holiday lights. Like I said-- Family. Our bathroom was original to the 1934 house that we live in--5 X7 with the sink, toilet and tub rubbing elbows. The floor tile was a charming black and white basket weave but old and worn. The wall tile was hiding mold. We kept it clean but it was never a pleasure. Now we're actually kind of afraid of it--it's so beautiful and bright and clean and convenient. It is taking us a little while to feel worthy. We've even invited friends over just to show off the bathroom. A sad commentary in some ways. But a fitting tribute, actually, to the care, the craftsmanship, the attention to detail that transformed our one and only bathroom. We hired Delta not just because we liked Stacy, Melissa and John but also because we had heard great things from them from our friend Jayme who hired them to undertake the transformation of her old patio. Now we are paying it forward by telling you that these people are wonderful to work with. And the end result of their work is solid, beautiful and a real pleasure. read more
