I called Friday to set up an appointment and I Showed up today a few minutes early, signed in and had a seat. Wait about 5 minutes and He called my name. Ken was very interested in how I like to wear my nails, round, square etc. Ken has such details to the importance of a beautiful nails. Great conversations and what I wanted. I took my sister there for a graduation present. If I could give no stars I would !! We sat there TWO AND A HALF HOURS on a very slow Wednesday for these black French top coffin nails. Not only did they charge me 75 dollars for them I called and talked to them and he basically said it was because the length. They are not that long and on their price sheet it says 5 dollar charge for length. They did not say anything about extra charges to her or anything which you are supposed to tell people when something will be an extra charge. I am very disappointed with how the OWNER dealt with the situation and how they basically just stole from me. I'm a loyal customer there and I loved it but this is ridiculous. I will not be back neither will my sisters, and if your reading this id encourage you to find another nail place also. THESE NAILS ARE NOT WORTH 75 DOLLARS. RIDICULOUS!! read more

If I could give a place a negative star, this place would get a negative 10. So I happened into this place because my usual place and several others were closed for a long holiday. I had had had to get my nails done since I had broken one. I saw this place next to Krogers and figured it couldn't be that bad. I go in and no one is in there. There girl sits me down and it's EXTREMELY hard to communicate as her English was terrible. I don't usually care about these things since I play with my phone anyhow. Within minutes of this starting I started getting VERY worried. First off everything was taking FOREVER. Like ridiculously slow. When she was doing the prep for the fill she hit my cuticle and sides of my fingers several times. This is VERY painful. She also was drilling so slow that the drill was making parts of my nail VERY hot. Again, painful. I then had to have her go back several times and actually fill in parts she missed. The fill itself was looking crappy but I was hoping she'd file that down. NOPE She then continued to move at a snails pace. I'm talking I was there for 1 1/2 hours just to get a freakin' fillin. She kept nicking me so much that I had to verbally tell her she was causing massive pain that I'd never experienced. She then has another guy come over to finish my nails. I'm assuming he was a boss. This makes nothing any better. When he starts doing my French tips I was disgusted. I kept having to point out VERY obvious places where white was in the middle of my nail and shouldn't be. The french tips were so thick that I felt like a common stripper. The lines were awful and not clean AT ALL. You could see places where the mails weren't smooth or the polish was uneven. I eventually told him to stop before he was going to do a 2nd top coat because I was going to have to get them redone Wednesday. The only positive is they didn't make me pay I literally was mortified and almost left in tears. I've now got to go to work and out with my boyfriend tomorrow with these gross nails on. Never. I went here for a Brazilian wax and left here with part of my skin taken off. I have never had a place take off skin when waxing before. I am in so much pain and will not be back. They go above and beyond to give you a pampering experience and they are very attentive when it comes to making sure each station is clean and hygienic. Also, Mindy is the best when it comes to dip nails! My nails are so strong and healthy and she gets the shape right every time. They are highly recommended!! read more

I went in and asked for a full set of acrylic tips. She asked me if I wanted them to took look natural and I said yes. I wanted an American manicure. They have done this before! And she said I have something for you help your nails grow and so on. She proceeded to put an acrylic overlay on my natural nails. I said so there won't be any tips and she said no. Not sure why she didn't want to do them. My natural nail was in great shape. Tech did what she wanted to do and didn't do anything i asked. Oh she did give me American manicure polish I wanted. I won't be back though. If I'm going to pay $40 for something I would like to get what I asked for. read more

The employees and owner do not acknowledge their mistakes. They cut my foot and my husbands foot and still expected us to pay. The owner ignored the issue. I think I am calling the health department on them ! Be careful if you go. read more

I have went to the Deluxe a few time to get my nails and eye brows done and you are correct they always rush you trying to get the next customer. Also, when you get your eye brows done and they are working on another client nails they will stop working on that client and do your eyebrows without washing their hands not knowing what type of germs you are getting on your skin. Wish they would be more attentive to their customers and not chasing the next customer. You might want to consider another place if you want something a bit more cleaner. read more

In my seemingly never-ending quest to find a good nail salon in the Jackson area, I tried this place. They did have a lot of colors of both regular and shellac polish to choose from. They seemed to be pretty clean and I didn't have to wait, which was a bonus. Service seemed ok - not over-the-top good, but not bad, either. The price was good. $60 for a pedi and shellac mani (I didn't have any nail polish on to take off). Cons - the same as most nail places here - lack of massage for the pedicure - just a cursory one, same for the hands, no offer of paraffin wax dip with the manicure. Also, why do these places always seem to have both a TV on as well as music playing? It's very annoying. A little attention to more "spa-like" details like soothing music and no tv would be good. Comparing it to Holly Nails, which is another place I go, I would have to rate it slightly higher because of the no wait time today and the large choice of colors. Also, the employees who were not working seemed to be cleaning up, etc, not just sitting around. I'll go back until I have a reason not to. read more
