She explained to me that if I took the filter out of the canister, my circulation would be back at strength and she was absolutely right when I tried it out. It turns out I just needed a new filter where I was able to pick one up affordably at a local hardware store. This all happened on the beginning of memorial day weekend, so for her to talk me through fixing this problem at a presumably busy time for pool repair technicians, she did me a tremendous favor. Her advice saved me a lot of money. There's no telling what good work this pool service will do if my problem was out of my reach.

Even though he had no intention of coming that day, he didn't bother to let me know. It appears that this company is related to another pool company called Swim Solutions. The car ahead of me struggled to get out, so I rolled my window down and let him know he was blocking visibility at an actual intersection. His response? "What do you want me to do?" I suggested the obvious: pull up a little so people can see. He said he couldn't because it would block the guest lane. I suggested pulling to the other side. His response? That would block the resident lane. Here's the fun part: there was no one in either lane and still about 100 feet of empty space in every direction. But apparently, basic spatial awareness and public safety were too much to ask. So instead, the owner of this company chose to block an intersection, argue about it, and refuse to move--despite being told it was dangerous. I still couldn't see oncoming traffic, and when I finally made a left turn, I almost got T-boned. If this is how this man handles a simple, common-sense situation--being made aware that he's creating a legitimate safety hazard--I can't imagine trusting him with heavy equipment, construction, or something as basic as pool maintenance. I wouldn't trust him to dig a hole in my backyard, let alone manage a pool, even if he were the last option on Earth. Unprofessional, inconsiderate, and wildly irresponsible. Hard pass.

When it is fixed and I get the system running there are cracks everywhere due to improper closing the year prior and freeze damage. I called this company on Friday and sent a video. I still never heard back from them. So, steer clear, not only will they over charge you but they will do damage to your pool and then not respond when you call them about it.

So, going into this much bigger project immediately after this negative experience with a different company, I was a little nervous. The owner, Jason, was extremely disrespectful and dismissive throughout the entire situation. Looking back, I should have trusted the negative reviews I saw before booking with them instead of brushing them off. One of their pool technicians came out on Monday to inspect our filter. According to Jason, the filter was inspected but not cleaned or serviced. He also stated that at the time of inspection, there were no signs of leaking or damage after the technician left. The very next day, we noticed a leak coming from the filter area. When we contacted Jason about it, instead of taking any accountability or even considering that something may have happened during the visit, he immediately claimed the unit was "old and broken" and needed to be completely replaced for $1,700. How does that make any sense? One day the filter supposedly shows no signs of leaking or damage, and immediately after their technician visits, it suddenly becomes "broken" and needs a costly replacement? Jason completely disregarded the obvious concern that something may have happened during or after the inspection. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect from the owner alone is enough for me to never use this company again. I would strongly recommend others do their research and proceed with caution before hiring Blissful Waters Pool Company.
