I met with James and he made it sound like an easy fix. Service techs (not James) showed up on time a couple days later and were very nice and respectful. They replaced 2 zone valves. One zone worked immediately. They could not get the other one to work. They told me to leave it on overnight and see if it would start up but it didn't. I called the office the next day and explained to the girl that it was still not working. She said she would talk to James and call me back that same day. I never heard from them again. Nothing! Also, when I called for the original appt. I asked the girl how they charged for service and she told me they charged $100 for the diagnosis but they would apply it to the charges if they did the work. They did not. They charged me $300 for two zone valve installations and added $100 on top of that. $400 total. Very expensive for 2 zone valves. I definitely would not recommend them!

We have a plumbing system Shubert worked on with the prior owners so we kept them to work on it. So Shubert gave us a $9,000 estimate to repair pipes upstairs which grew to $16,000 with no change in scope when the work was done. They have done this to us a couple of times now, and we are done working with Shubert and team. Recently, Shubert claimed to need 3 plumbers all day (aka 8hrs each) to replace a hot water heater. They were here for 4 hours for the install and two plumbers were idle most of the time. After the install we still did not have hot water, they left the old water heater in the driveway for almost a month and left a black sludge on the garage floor for a month. And they wanted to get paid before taking a month to finally finish the job. Avoid these folks at all costs!!

I currently own over a dozen rental homes and formerly owned over 35 Rental homes. I recently had a…read moretenant at one of my Pagosa duplexes call me to report her toilet would not quit running. The water bill at this property was already quite high so I hoped to have it repaired ASAP. I called the 2 local plumbers I usually use and they were both out of town. Since the home only had 1 toilet I decided to Google another plumbing option and found Element Plumbing. I called them and they said they could come the next day as they were going to be in Pagosa, so I scheduled them. They arrived and called me with 3 Incredibly high quotes to replace the toilet, which actually turned out to most likely only need a new flapper system. The least expensive option they quoted was $1390! I have replaced toilets many times over the years and never paid over $200. Element Plumbing knew they had me over a barrel as my tenant clearly needed an operating toilet and my other plumbers were not available. While they were there my tenant next door called me about her garbage disposal. They quoted me over $1200 to repair it so I declined that repair and had another company replace it for a total of $178.43. This company took advantage of me and I obviously cannot recommend them for anything!
