The food menu is very limited in options for vegans & vegetarians. They serve beer, wine & spirits. There is a drink menu available upon request for beer, wine and spirits. There was a guitar player playing beautiful live music for the duration of my first visit (Feb 2026). During my most recent visit (8 April 2026), I ordered the Pecan Crusted grouper with red cabbage & seasonal veggies. The grouper was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside & topped with a strawberry mango fruit compote. Both the cabbage and veggies were overcooked which was disappointing bc I appreciate some good texture! The flavors were good though. So if completely softened veggies are your thing, I think you'd enjoy them. To drink, I ordered a mocktail that is new to the drink menu -- a Triple Citrus Paloma. It was refreshingly tart & garnished with a honey dipped Tajin rim! Shoutout to Lucinda for curating it. Additionally, my husband and I shared the salmon croquettes as an appetizers & I had the key lime tart to go. Neither was necessarily memorable (I completely forgot about them until prompted by Yelp to review this review) but I'd order the croquettes again! City Cafe & Bakery has a pretty vast selection of desserts! Cakes. Pies. Tarts. Petit fours. Cookies. Cannolis. Cheesecake. Eclairs. Mousse. Everything is baked in-house except the macarons.
