In fact, a lady on the phone saw me and did not even acknowledge my presence. I should have left right then and there but I wanted to look around. After being in the place for about 5 minutes someone finally asked if I was interested in seeing anything but she seemed a little annoyed. There was one case of jewelry I thought was very nice and stood out, the rest of the stuff was OK at best and the merchandising left a lot to be desired. Finally I had her show me a pair of black and white diamond chandelier earrings that were absolutely gorgeous (and about $2500) she took them out of the case and didn't say anything, she could have had some enthusiasm for her product, told me about the designer, how they would make a great present from my husband etc. Nope and because she didn't tell me anything this meant I had to look at the price tag myself while she stood there. Hello, awkward. I'll never set foot in here again. Maybe they must have a lot of clientele or repair work. If you want and unique selection and great service go to Dahlkempers. They let customers bring in all their jewelry for damage checks and cleanings...there is never a wait! They are fast and very courteous, never pushy. I will never go anywhere else.

The fabrics felt amazing and the clothing was very good quality. There is a dressing room available so clothes can be tried on. Instead, the owner, in a very rude tone, refused to take back the merchandise. I was working in the fashion industry at the time, and knew it was her responsibility to ask for a refund from her supplier. I remained calm, but instead of discussing it like an adult, she raised her voice to me and then said: "I have REAL customers coming in the store now," and hung up on me. These is not even so much about me as it is about my sister. She only had $100 to her name at the time and spent $20 on these earrings. I know how hard she worked to get them. To be honest and fair: They have great items there. I loved supporting them as a local small business before this happened. The girls that worked for the owner were also great. I would just recommend not buying any body jewelry from them unless you have a gauge wheel with you. It's been a couple years since this happened, but every once in a while something reminds me of it and it still bugs me.
