Oysters are also very reasonably priced. Price per glass vary from 65-225kr, but glass sizes are generous, which makes pricing very reasonable. All in all a very nice new wine bar, which is one of my new favorites in Copenhagen.

Even on the menu, where fancier and hipstery places will list what the drink has, this bar sort of hinted at the ingredients. Not ideal when you know what you're looking for or what you like.

The place is not huge, but super cozy and the interior is well thought out, together with the music it creates a bit of a Great Gatsby vibe. It fits in well with the style of the other restaurants - as we walked in, we briefly asked ourselves if we'd taken the wrong door and instead walked into Alabama Social! The cocktail menu is short, but exclusive - you have your classics (Aviation, Old Fashioned, and the likes) - the only thing that was a bit off for me was the Piña Colada on the menu, but hey, I guess it's a popular drink. Could be interesting to try when it's not served in a 0,5l glass with tons of fruit on it. With our cocktails, we were served water, which many, but not all, good bars do. As they had a happy hour thing going on, we ordered two of their signature drinks for the price of one. First, we tried No 9, with Japanese bourbon, genmaicha popcorn tea, white pepper, and lemon curd. Yes, it was a good as that sounds! Next up was No 5, with vodka, apple syrup, Peychauds bitters, and jasmine tea. Another excellent choice, if I do say so myself! Prices are in line with other higher-end cocktail bars in Copenhagen. The Summer Cup, while it looked fruity and summery, didn't really hit the high notes on fruityness, nor really any other flavor. For snacks we had fries and the Alabama hot wings (presumably from Alabama Social, which is right next door). The fries were basically flawless, and the hot wings were as close to real American hot wings you can get in Copenhagen - not as hot and greasy as the real deal, but still very good.

Fair prices, quality wine - it all seems so simple, and yet this scene is rare in overpriced, sometimes overcomplicated, Copenhagen. Bring your own empty bottles, bring a bucket, bring your camel backpack, bring whatever you want to fill up with wine, or take one of theirs with an awesome logo designed by Fos - everything is pay by weight (by the liter). Wine can be consumed in the shop (many tables available, so spread out), or take some to go (don't forget the cheese and charcuterie) for a picnic on Dronning Louises Bro. The space is open and well-lit offering a variety custom-designed furniture and fixtures pieces where you can congregate with friends over your favorite wine. The bottom line: They offer a variety of 5 specially selected (direct from the grower/source) wines in tanks (read: on tap), which you can purchase by the glass, bottle, or even your own growler (if you have one laying around). I was happily surprised with the cosy interior and the good service. It is a small and warm place on Istegade. If you don't know it exists you probably will not pay attention when you pass by. We tried 3 different wines each and all of them were good. Apparently all wines come from Argentina in Malbeck. The girl who was working was very friendly and able to explain and suggest wines. The place was not full, there was enough space for everyone and I really liked the setup of the benches. A good place for a chill afternoon/evening.
