It would be very hard for me to rate a Mikkeller bar under 5 stars. The beer is overwhelmingly good (there are always a few duds, but the good far outweighs the bad). This bar had a very friendly bartender and outdoor seating across the street. We ordered a pizza from a few doors down and then enjoyed beers outside while waiting for our pizza. Pizza ready.... and brought it over to eat while we kept drinking. Genius! I highly recommend this spot. Although beers are a little bit on the pricier side, they are delicious and hard to find outside of Scandinavia!

The original Mikkeller bar. With 40 taps, you'll find something you like. Plenty of seating (much more spacious than the Mikkeller Bar in Vesterbro) and designed for conversation, not raging. Bonus points for the fellow Arsenal fan working the taps.

Well, it is well worth the visit. Pretty pricey but you can get all brews in 20cls glasses. Spontan-brews can still be DKK110 for the small glass. The tap menu has something for everyone - even if "you dont like beer". Crisps/Chips bags at DKK 35. Sibling bar for sour brews is Koelschip. They accept AMEX.

As a fan of the other Mikkeller bars around the world, i had to hit this ip while eating in the area. ,et two friends for drinks. Shit it's crowded. Could be that the CPh beer celebration is on and uber beer geeks are out. Not sure what the deal with the brits outside of their country are but theyre just rude here, and it would turn put the same at the CBC. Regardless had a solid Rose de Gambrinus sour and we checked out the bottle shop. I, guessing ill stick to the original space more but good to know there's a great alternate locale in town.

For beer and service this is one of the best in Copenhagen. The Mikkeller system is an OCD beer-lover heaven: 40 taps (and more bottles) each with a number, ABV, and type listed out on their huge chalkboards. Beer can be ordered in 25 or 40 cl sizes; but it's just more fun to get the 25 cl and try more varieties. Plus the 25 comes in stemmed tasting glasses which I find strangely satisfying to drink out of even though I know it makes no difference to the beer. The decor is...a strong statement. The one shade of aqua pretty much covers everything and what isn't aqua is very pale wood. There are quite a few tables, but the benches are not very movable and there are no small stools or chairs you can pull up to join your friends at a table. But I can see that it would quickly turn into a zoo with no standing space if they put in more chairs. Not my favourite decor, but I can overlook it for the sake of the beer. Note: they close at midnight currently, but that is supposed to change in the future. Also, it's hot and sweaty as hell in there...here's to hoping they open the windows or install ventilation. Update: open till 2am on weekends now and looks like the new AC went in! So at least one corner of the bar is not sweat inducing.

We discovered this little bar because it was on the same street as airBnB. Aside from the convenience, this place has a great atmosphere, many beer options, few drink options, and delicious chips. Staff was friendly and helpful when recommending drinks. Ended up going back for another drink two nights later. Would recommended to those in the area. Side note, there was some great little artwork up throughout the space.

Tasty beers and a comfortable, intimate environment. It's in a good neighborhood to walk around in, very close to a GROD and lots of small parks/green areas on the way to the bar.

The entrance, in cool colors (especially the floor!).

When you have a Danish boyfriend and you both like beer, it doesn't take a long time before you'll be introduced to Mikkeller(, which is a Danish brewery). This little bar is located next to the shop where they sell lots of different Mikkelers (and some other beers), on the corner, in a basement. It's not too hard to find, but still good to know, because really: if you like beer, you want to go here! Mikkeler & Friends really is open for everyone. It's not the classical dark-brownish beer place (that smells a little bad), but really a cool place with fresh colors and lots of white and tree. And yep, their beers... You can get both 0.2 and 0.5 liters, which makes it way more affordable!, and there's so many different ones on tap that I guess you could say this really is Mikkeler paradise. Or beer paradise.

Yet another Mikkeler place! This one is located further out but is still worth a stop. There are probably 40 beers on tap ranging from their own beers to many guest beers. Again, you have the option of the small or large glasses. I tried a cherry and a super tasty fruit IPA that didn't even taste like an IPA. The staff here are knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely recommend!

Amazing tap bar and my favourite place for beer in Copenhagen. Big variety of tap beers (around 35-40 taps) and always something new available to try. They also have a small variety of snacks which work well with beer (variety of dried sausages served with pickles and crisps/ chips). Love the place and love the easygoing vibe. Total recommendation.

    Cute glasses.

This newer version of a Mikkeller centric bar in Copenhagen has a more extensive draft and bottle list than the older location. It's also bigger and much brighter, but the way it was split up and the tables system made it seem a little less friendly in some ways than the old bar. That said, there were tons of people from all over the world in here when I went and I had a good time. Not as friendly as some of the other bars, like I said, but great selection and I ended up enjoying myself enough. Like the other location this place has bar snacks and sausages. If I remember correctly, I think they also had pickles and chocolates as well. But much like the other location, the food list pretty much ends there.

Great spot in a very popular part of Copenhagen. It was pretty expensive but worth it for delicious beer. Range was about 16 USD for a pint. This place itself is unlike any brewery I've been before. Minimal decor with lots of raw wood and many alcoves for private seating. Interesting art and lots of candles. Seems to be a common trend in the area. Quite a large selection of of light and dark beers.

Cool people, good beer. Lots of variety (40 on tap). The place itself is unlike anywhere I've been before. Minimal decor and not a place fore a fancy meet up but def a neat place for a chill hang out.

The beer list is very short and included one about 5 bottles (Negro Modelo, Brooklyn Lager and some others I can't recall). Crowd looked mid to late twenties and pretty well dressed. Not a student bar that's for sure. The prices are a little high: cocktails are 80-90 Kr and beers are 45-50 Kr). The low bench seating along the windows looked cozy and comfortable, but it was crowded and I didn't manage to get a seat. There's not a lot of seating. If you're in a large group, you'll have to huddle around one of the high tables scattered around the bar. + cool cocktails + chic decor - prices are on the high end - small beer selection - limited seating

The first time we were lucky to sit on the big sofas of the room at the back. We were given menus, took our order and brought our drinks over at the table. YEEEEEEAH!!! So happy :) The low lighting and the nice cosy music at the background made the atmosphere perfect to lay back and have a conversation while enjoying some fantastic cocktails. The front room has some more light and different seats. There is also a patio outside, with heaters, for those who want to smoke without being separated from their drink! The second time I went there, the room at the back was closed and there were no menus at the bar (just a couple or three at the tables). I guess they are preparing the bar for the summer, probably with an updated menu! Looking forward to go back.

Great beer on tap, large wine section and good mix of hard alcoholic options. Together with soda, coffee and tea. Today the warm lunch options were a Thai Curry chicken stew with white rice (not bad at all), and I didn't try the Bean Chili (doesn't feel like a good idea for a long plane ride with many people)..
