As a photographer I know who to hire for events and I hired Jerry. Now the reason that Jerry photographed my (much) younger sister's Bat Mitzvah is precisely because Jerry is amazing. Notice that I didn't say "amazing photographer" (which he is). I left that statement hanging with just the word "amazing." That's because Jerry also happens to be a wonderful friend, father, and all around human being. I will actually challenge you to find someone nicer. And yes, he happens to be a fantastic photographer and a total gearhead. I think in selecting a photographer for something like a wedding you should look at how talented the photographer is. Absolutely you should like their images. BUT you should also get a sense for how enjoyable that person is to be around and how honest that person is. This is a person you will interact with a lot. Really a lot sometimes. Your photographer is probably the person you spend the most time with on your wedding day (sometime more than your new spouse) and is the vendor that you will probably have the longest relationship with. Really think about that. I wouldn't typically be so hyperbolic, but in this case it's true: Jerry is the nicest guy I know. If you like his images then you have every reason to hire him.

They were also accommodating in scheduling since my baby was born almost a week late and then I had to reschedule again due to a conflict. Our photographer showed up on time and brought everything with her. She was very patient with our baby since he was fussy halfway through the session. The photos turned out so good! Pricing is competitive for the basic package but it only includes 8 photos. We had 50+ photos in the gallery to choose from so it was impossible to only choose 8. We upgraded our package and the upgrade fees are pretty steep. But I was prepared for that going in. It is very convenient to have a newborn photographer in home especially that first week or so when you're sleep deprived. I would use sweet me again.
