They ran into a snag when pulling title. There were succession issues, a foreclose and a short sale. A huge fiasco to say the least. The other title company could not write title for my client. I have never dealt with a title company that- first didn't reach out to introduce themselves(I was referred by my Real Estate Agent), and then waited until the Labor Day Weekend to reach out to me for the first time. She left a message on Friday afternoon of Labor Day weekend (first I heard from her in 6 weeks), saying she needed to verify my address so she could mail me closing docs, oh and by the way the office is closing at 3pm today - I was in California and she was in Louisana. Holiday came and went, and she left another me another voice mail on Thursday saying she was emailing info instead and I needed to go to a Notary with TWO PEOPLE WHO KNEW ME, and get paperwork back to them by Monday.....WTF.....!!!!!!!! She said Louisana requires this to close on a property, Sounds like some shady business to me. When I questioned why I have never heard from her till Labor Day Weekend, and by the way...When did you get the paperwork? She refused to answer my questions referring me back to the agent. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. No house, no deposit...PLEASE HEED THIS WARNING REGARDING THIS COMPANY!
