I've always loved coming to this laundromat -- it's clean, well-maintained, and the staff is usually friendly and helpful. That's the reason my husband and I started coming here in the first place. The atmosphere is typically welcoming, especially when Mr. Issac and Miss Vinnie are working. They both go above and beyond to keep the place clean and organized, and their warm demeanor is truly appreciated. Miss Vinnie is constantly sweeping and keeping things in order, and Mr. Issac is always helpful -- familiar faces that bring a sense of comfort and consistency.
However, I recently had a disappointing experience. I usually come in the evenings or on weekends, but I visited on a weekday this past Thursday. I encountered a short, brown-skinned woman who was unfortunately very rude. I was transferring my clothes from the washer to the dryer and noticed the dryer vent was full of lint. I politely asked if she could clean it, but she said she couldn't due to a health condition and told me I could do it myself -- all while remaining seated and appearing disinterested.
My husband actually mentioned having a similar encounter with her during a morning visit about a month ago. To make matters worse, I checked a few other dryers and found that all their vents were full, which suggests they hadn't been cleaned in a while. This is both a safety concern and a sign of neglect.
I understand there may have been a change in ownership recently, but I sincerely hope that the new management continues to uphold the high standards set by employees like Mr. Issac and Miss Vinnie. I truly hate to leave negative feedback, but I believe this issue should be addressed -- especially when it comes to staff attitude and cleanliness, which are so important in a shared space like this. read more
