Brought a few pieces of clothing to this location, paid around $60 when I picked them up. Got them home and removed the tags, like a fool, just to realize that one of my shirts was severely shrunken. I originally paid over $100 for this shirt, so I was quite upset that I couldn't even put it on. I brought it back to the store, the nice lady at the front gave me a form to fill out, and I left. The area supervisor called me a few days later. She was very rude to me. Told me that she didn't believe that my shirt left the shop in such poor condition. She said that since I had removed the dry cleaner tag, that it was hard to believe that they were the ones who had shrank the shirt. She also questioned as to why I hadn't brought the shirt in sooner if there was such a big issue. I work and go to school, so I brought it in about 3 days later. She said she would bring it to the plant and have the plant manager take a look at it. Days later, I get another call from her telling me that they are not going to reimburse me for the shirt. She said that the plant manager didn't believe that the shirt had left their care in such poor condition. She basically accused me of shrinking my own shirt then bringing it back...makes no sense. She said they would try to stretch it out. When I picked it up, it was in the same condition as when I first picked it up from them. I am done with using Kean's and will be sure to let my friends know the poor service that I received there. Hopefully Welsh's will have better customer service and be able to dry clean my clothes without shrinking them down to Barbie-size. read more
