The service was very good and friendly. We meet there with old friends and didn't feel rushed. We enjoyed the time there.

I have only done this once ever before in my life, but I made a visit to Denny's to get the free birthday breakfast. My server was Maricel and she was fabulous! The birthday discount has a maximum value of $12.39 which is validated by showing your driver's license, but that didn't stop me from ordering the BYO Grand Slam, which I haven't had in several years! I went on Sunday for eggs benny and hash browns ... it was a typical busy Sunday at 11:30am. However, once we got seated, we got served quickly. Food was great. So, today I was in the area, craving some "more" eggs benny and hashbrowns, so I popped in. TODAY (Tuesday, September 29th) at 1:30pm. I got my food LESS THAN 5 MINUTES after my order was taken. Yes - less than 5 actual minutes. (I was reading an article on my cell phone, that's how I know the times). Same delish food, amazingly fast service. I always love the shredded hashbrowns and I especially like that they have a HALF order of eggs benny - this is what I order. (My other favorite is the Moons Over My Hammy ... which "used" to be able to come in a half order). I will continue to come back to Dennys - various locations. This one is very convenient to me. Denny's has good food at reasonable prices and they seem to have the efficiency thing down. The food is always consistent and I've never had a bad meal here. This Denny's gets busy on the weekends, but the wait is never long and you know you'll get decent food quickly. Except the apple juice. Why the hell are they charging $4 for a glass of apple juice? There is no justification for this. But outside of that, the food was good and the service was prompt. You can't ask for anything more. read more

Working midnites, we will go there after work every now and then. I love this restaurant. Here's why 1.) If u want healthy..tilapia ranchero this is my favorite, with my endless iced tea drink 2.) If u want healthy breakfast they have it too. Got veggies and fruits. 3.) Want fries, I like their flavored fries, no need for gravy 4.) Feel like just having finger food, I had their small nachos, for $7 holy, so good... Got sour cream and dip. 5.) Lastly, their dessert, apple crumble I think its called....yummy. We're regulars at this location. Staff is fantastic and often have our drinks ready when we sit down. Orders are fast and accurate. Management is great too. Food is typical diner food. If you're bringing a large party for breakfast or lunch on the weekend though, prepare for a wait. read more

My partner and I came in for a late dinner as we were craving some American food. We ordered an Oreo milkshake to start, which was delicious, but nothing special as far as milkshakes go. My partner ordered the country fried steak - also very delicious, but just a bit above average. I ordered the honey bacon Sriracha burger - not so delicious and I definitely wouldn't recommend it. The flavours just didn't really work together - it tasted quite bizarre. I think I'll stick to the standard fare next time, as that seems to be what Denny's does best. read more

I had the build your own slam, first thing I ordered which was bacon didn't end up on my plate, where the bacon was supposed to be was an egg, which I didn't ask for, plus she didn't even ask me now I wanted them despite asking for them or not. The hollandaise sauce was bland, my boyfriend's steak was undercooked, his Ceasar dressing was half mixed, and to be honest the orange juice was not worth 4 dollars. My family and I (consisting of 2 daughters aged 4.5 and 2) as well my hubby ventured out to run some errands and decided to stop for a quick Sunday brunch at Denny's two weekends ago. (We had not been to this particular Denny's in a few years however it was my Step dad's birthday breakfast back in early Feb and he chose to go to Denny's by McMahon Stadium and we quite enjoyed it! I had the fit fare omelette and it was YUMMO! Fresh, fast and hot!) So at this Denny's after we waited for about 20 minutes to be seated we are finally in. I ordered two apple juices for my little girls paired with 2 coffee's and 2 waters for hubby and I. The waitress takes her time brings back 1 coffee and 2 water's and then a few mins later the kids juice. I was busy with the kids so i didn't notice right away, when hubby asked where his coffee is I gave him mine and said I would watch for the waitress to fix our order. She was not very friendly nor attentive. I had to physically flag her down to tell her we needed another cup of coffee. Once that was brought back to our table we were ready to order. Hubby ordered an omelette with side of fruit, I had ordered the fit fare omelette with turkey bacon and fresh fruit, my oldest daughter wanted the kids pancake and egg combo and my littlest girl pointed to the picture of pizza on her kids sheet of paper and so voila! That's what she had wanted. We waited what seemed like forever for the food - usually at most restaurants they will send out the kids food FIRST as they have little mouths and tend to take years to finish the meal compared to their parents. This was not the case at Denny's. All our food came out at the same time and man it was BAD! Where do I begin.. Let's start with my husbands meaty omelette. COLD and Bland. The very loosely coined 'Chef' has no concept of seasonings. Next: Mine was a greasy mess! Its supposed to be one of there 'healthier' options and there was visible grease and oily-fat laying on my plate. Way too much cheese, turkey bacon barely cooked lying limp with no grill marks and again not hot. *TOTAL DIFFERENCE FROM THE PLEASANT EXPERIENCE ORDERING THE EXACT SAME THING FROM THE 16TH AVE LOCATION!!* Ready for the worst part? My littlest daughter pizza is frozen and then MICROWAVED and physically stuck to the plate they served it on. Why on earth would anyone go to a restaurant and pay $6 for god awful microwaved pizza? It was so disgusting to look at.. all white, doey and bland. IMO on the kids menu there should be an asterisk beside the picture stating it is microwaved goop or for this item to be removed from the kids menu all together. While we again were not being followed up I had to flag down the waitress again to ask her to take this garbage back and she had an attitude and zero sympathy muttering.. Yes its microwaved. its always been served that way. Then I asked how long it would be to get some little dollar pancakes for my daughter. She said 2-3 mins so we said fine. The FINAL straw was when my eldest daughter asked me to cut her last pancake. I move her plate over to cut it and what I do I notice? A BIG BLACK CURLY HAIR ON HER PLATE!!! Nasty. I got up and asked for the manager. Instead of the manager my waitress came back with a look on her face and asked what the problem was. I showed her the hair on my little girls plate. AGAIN NO REMORSE. NOT ONE I'M SORRY ABOUT THAT. ZIPPO. Astonished - my patience with his awful joint had run dry. I told her she can forget the pancakes and remove both kids meals from my bill. We left and we will DEFINITELY NOT RETURN!! I shouldn't of even had to pay for my half eaten and very disappointing breakfast either, but I did. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS HOLE IN THE WALL. I have been to this Denny's a few times now,but only during the night shift. It is always pretty empty, yet warm, and inviting. The first time I was here,(perhaps because I had just got off a gruelling 12hour shift at work, and looked destitute) I ordered a coffee while reading the menu, and was that I was Free to order the all you can eat pancakes, and that the bill was on them. Not being one to turn down a free meal, I politely accepted. The only downside I have ever seen was a few of the customers attitudes towards some of the patrons. read more
