Neither the hairdresser nor the owner reached out to me to see if I was okay. Side note: The day after this happened, I thankfully found a wonderful hairdresser in Clarkston with a referral from a friend Anyway, after I didn't immediately cancel my upcoming appointments here, they had the poor receptionist (who is very sweet) call to say I couldn't return. Ummm... did you really think I was coming back? I had no intention of returning. She also added in the same phone call (with coaching from the background) that "oh, and [the hairdresser] is independent". My guess is that the owner told her to say this. It is just so awful and disappointing how they handled the whole situation. All they ever did after scalding me was try to cover their butts.

Jenny Smith cut and styled my hair every time and is fantastic at recommending what will work for my hair and what won't. She is very honest and while there are times I didn't like her advice, she was always right and I'm glad I listened to her. The owner, Jeri, has always been very kind and helpful and even gave me a tip about how to counteract the effects of well water on my hair. A time or two I also had manicures and pedicures and those were also well done and by pleasant staff members. I highly recommend Creations if you want to go to laid-back salon that has down-to-earth staff who interact with you in a very friendly and helpful manner.
