I had a confusing email and she put me on hold and asked questions and read through the email with me to ensure I fully understood. Upon arrival, we opened the door for the massage therapist who was just arriving, my husband was then taken back right away at his appointment time, and I had to wait until my therapist was ready to take me back nearly 10 minutes late. Once brought back I explain that I am a small business owner and my son is sick and in treatment so we don't get to do things like this a lot. There were absolutely no follow-up questions about me. The rest of the conversation was about her, her children, and even stopping the massage to have me look at her hands as she showed me the tattoo she was considering...seriously? In regards to the massage, it was more of lotion being rubbed onto my body and not a full-body massage. I was very stressed and anxious when I walked out. I discussed my challenges with the manager I believe, and she was irritated with my concerns. Abruptly offered me $20 off, and was clear that was the deal I was getting. So fine, I paid $85 for the lotion to be put on my body and to provide Rinda a safe space to discuss her family. This is not how I expect to be treated in this place, I had a membership for a while and was forced to cancel it due to my son's cancer treatment. This was supposed to be a special thing, we were buying two gift cards to get a free gift card and getting some add-ons complimentary from the email. That is not what happened, we were given $20 off and a bad attitude. My foot scrub was two seconds of application of some sort of scrub and a rub for about 1 second. I do NOT feel I got what I paid for. I do not feel my issues were resolved. I have left other reviews and contacted the company directly.

This Hand & Stone is located on 26 Mile Road behind Buffalo Wild Wings. Back in June I was across…read morethe street at the LA Fitness and on my way out they had a massage chair set up and were giving free sample massages. I had my free massage and they gave me a voucher for a $34.99 first time full body massage at their location. I really enjoyed the woman Peggy who gave me the chair sample massage, so I made an appointment to have a full body massage with her. So in June I had a full body massage with Peggy and she let me know that she was about to leave for surgery and would be out for a few weeks. I actually signed up for their monthly membership at $59.95 a month (which can be rolled over to the next month, etc.). I waited until I got the call that Peggy was back and saw her in August. I also requested an upgrade to a hot stone massage. What a waste of money!! She put about 4 hot stones on my back and rubbed them around and eventually they got cold and that was it!! Peggy also likes to talk throughout the entire massage - something I don't really appreciate. Especially when the talk got political and anti vaccine!! Seriously - did I need to know her opinions!!??? So when it was time for my next massage I called and asked who does the best deep tissue work. They said "Peggy" and I said "NO - I don't want Peggy". They said Frank was also good - so I scheduled with Frank. He is an older gentleman who has been doing massages for quite a long time according to him. His technique was very good and even though it wasn't as strong as I might have liked - it was an acceptable massage. The whole purpose of me signing up for the monthly membership was so that I would go more regularly for massages at a more reasonable price. When I am done with the massage I also go across the street to the LA Fitness and soak in the hot tub - so its a win-win situation!! Last night I had another massage with Frank and it was good - not the best I've ever had, but very good. Like I said - the whole purpose of the membership was to get me going more regularly at a reasonable price. I like the convenience of it being fairly close to my home and the fact that I can go soak in the hot tub across the street afterwards.

Leaving me, with PERMANENT SCARS that I must protect, from the sun, until the day I die. This occurred 2 months before my wedding in July 2023. I've waited over a year to post a review. I wanted to see if the burns would heal, and they have not. My dermatologist told me I would have these scars for the rest of my life. I've spent $$$$$, caring for these burns and subsequent deep scars. To make a long story short, the owner, and the receptionist, were deceitful and lied throughout this incident denying any fault. When I asked them for the procedure information on file, they handed me a sealed 8x10 envelope and I foolishly waited to open when I got home. The envelope contained the form I filled out prior to procedure. They refused to give me the file, saying that it was much too abstract and difficult for the average person to understand. Days later the owner said that I would have to hire a lawyer to get it. The owner told me, "you'll never be able to sue me", but I never even mentioned the word, "sue". Guilty people become defensive and prepare for a lawsuit. I believe it's my duty to warn and report to any and all in my neighborhood. They do not care about you as a person. Before you take that risk, ask yourself this question. Do I really want to take that chance with my skin? I've posted photos. ONE picture says it al!

I had a breast Aug from Dr. Pittas about 2 years ago - long story short this clinic should be shut down. I'm currently trying to get in contact with my surgeon due to an issue in my right implant and it's been taking all week because of how piss poor this clinic truly is. This clinic DOES NOT care about you our your recovery. Read the reviews and take your money elsewhere. ALSO the process to get your procedure is most strange - i did not meet my surgeon at consultation only 5 minutes before my surgery and he DID not give me what i asked for either. This place is truly disgusting.

The Botox/xeomin/tox has, in my experience, been noticeably less effective over the past few years, especially when the partnership with Alle went away. I've found that every appointment I would require more and more units while the effects would last 1-2 months maximum (I know my metabolism isn't THAT good). At Allure, the injector beings prefilled syringes into the rooms instead of mixing the vials in the spirit of efficiently. If you're naive to how the process should work, like I was, you don't realize best practice is for the injector to reconstitute the vial in front of the patient so they know exactly what they're receiving. This practice has made me skeptical of the reconstitution accuracy given how ineffective my injections have been over the past year or two. I have since sought out my injections elsewhere and have had half of the units injected with better, longer lasting results. The physician also showed me the vial before and after reconstitution which gave me peace of mind.

They only removed two which is not what i requested, just indicating not necessary, but who is the patient? Told to come back after 30 days for free touch up if not resolved. My nurse practitioner went out on maternity leave and there was a charge for services as a 'different' provider was to see me. Wait, same office so why should the patient be on the hook for new charges concerning the previous services rendered? But here is the rub, first visit only removing two skin tags pushed the billing allowance up. First tag removal fee and 2-15 (some limit) removals another fee. Only removed two skin tags to increase the client billing fees with minimum services. On the second follow-up visit which was supposed to be free on touch-up turned yielded new additional changes, new provider (NP still on maternity leave) so have to pay. While at the counter checking out already irritated on new provider charge, an office staff member was instructing the billing person to bill me the maximum charges allowed as this patient was credited on first visit for nearly all the office charges due on negotiated rates. Would appear that billing practices is a concern over patient care. I will not be recommending nor returning back to Grekin Skin Institute/Advanced Dermatology in Shelby Township or other locations.
