I had to come here as Social Security assigned him to me to do my Disability evaluation. From the…read moremoment I walked in the door the staff was hostile and rude and ableist openly making fun of me. Dr. Mark refused to wear a mask and actually slammed the door on my walker! He also had his receptionist slam the receptionist window in my face because I asked them to wear a respirator in an ongoing airborne pandemic. The receptionists also threatened to call the police on me because I asked for a letter saying he was refusing to do the examination for disability and refusing accessible accommodations. This is the only time I have ever reported a medical healthcare worker to the Florida Dept of Health as well as the AMA. This is not a doctor that should be allowed to practice and should never be assigned to vulnerable immune compromised patients from the social security disability office. I was thankfully assigned a different doctor for my evaluation who did mask with their staff and was the exact opposite of this office. I would say run away but if you are disabled then get out of there as soon as you are physically able to do so. Never ever go here. If I could give a negative review I would of below zero I would.

Surgery was extremely successful and Dr Herschman's skills, bedside manner, knowledge and follow up care are top notch! In addition to the impeccable treatment provided by Dr Herschman, his Physican's Assistant, Rebecca is outstanding! She is also highly skilled and provided incredible care with follow up visits during my hospital stay and was present with him during each follow up office visit, post surgery. The following is a brief summary of my experiences with this office. (Both of my parents are in their 80's ) -Dr Costell is kind and patient. Unfortunately he is unable to 'fix' any issues you may have with the office. -The office routinely refers their patients experiencing memory challenge to facilities that do not accept Medicare without alerting them or offering them alternative facilities that accept their insurance. "Office policy". - Appointments seem to be scheduled every 4 months, regardless of when the results of your test come in. -More often than not, you will have to request the test results to be posted in the patient's portal. Be sure the complete test is posted before the next office visit. - In summary, dealing with the office has been a nightmare!
