I was scheduled to see Brandon Scott with an appointment at 12:45 and had done my paperwork weeks before online. Another new patient walked in just in front of me and was filling out his paperwork. I came to learn we were both scheduled for a 12:45 appointment. They took him first (because of course they did), and got me in to do the xray 20 minutes later, then it was into the chair to wait. I sat in the chair listening to the laughing, cajoling and the chatter with the other patient for almost an hour then he was off to laugh with one of his assistants! When Brandon Scott finally found the time for my consult it was 1:50. I told him I had scheduled another appointment at 2:30, not thinking I'd be this long at his office for a consult. He had no apology, and became defensive, replying that he always schedule two patients at once and sometimes things happen. I told him I understood that sometimes things happen with each patient causing it to take longer, and that I got that, but that scheduling two at once was probably the bigger problem. (I mean... I have things to do as well and don't book my entire day around one CONSULT appointment.) He got up, removed the bib and said "Sorry Ma'am, this isn't going to work". He was cocky, arrogant and without any sort of apology for keeping me waiting for an hour. He only offered up some BS to the effect of "we all wait for doctors in their office". Well, sorry buddy, that's not justification for me waiting while you're laughing it up and flirting with one of your assistants! YES, I saw that. I was sitting up - turned toward the entrance taking notice of and listening to everything at that point! I was already anxious and waiting for so long while you laughed it up, only making my anxiety worse. I don't know whether this guy is good at what he does or not, I only know he seems to be full of himself and thinks he's the only endo in town. On the way out his receptionist resounded with a shocking "WOW", and made a feeble attempt to defend his actions. He was anything but professional IMO and there was no defending him to me. I walked out. So here's my recommendation: unless you're willing to HURRY UP AND WAIT until he makes the time to see you with no sense of urgency or importance, unless you fancy feeling like a number and not a person, unless you believe your time is less valuable than his or any doctor's time for that matter, I WOULD NOT recommend Dr. Brandon (the Arrogant CLOWN) Scott. He needs to learn a thing or two about a thing or two and work on his bedside manner. Here's a tip: Never trust a guy with two first names.

I needed a root canal and was able to get in within 2 weeks (I had no pain). The front of the office staff was able to get me in before I went out of town which was very helpful. Once you're brought to your chair, they offer you a pillow and blanket. The space is clean and calming. The endodontist was calm and reassuring through the process and was checking in on me very often. Root canals are never fun, but this place made it as good as it could be. I'm hoping for no more dental work, but if I needed it I would be happy to come back here.

I needed to have the…read moreroot canal pretty quickly due to some other medical appointments and I was in town visiting my in-laws. He and his assistant Faye were very kind to me. He prescribed the anxiety med I requested and believed me when I said I would need extra numbing shots, I'm very sensitive and usually feel everything. (You can read my review of that person on this site as well) Dr. Thomas and his staff managed to work me in between appointments on a Thursday afternoon and did a root canal for me without having to schedule a return visit. I'm not a big fan of dentists, I rank them (not as individuals mind you, simply in overall image and fear provoking terms) right up there with politicians and spree-killers. However, Dr. Thomas made every single effort imaginable to assure that I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure and experienced as little pain as possible. More importantly, the following day he actually took the time to call me on his way home from the office to check on my comfort and to let me know that I was welcome to call him over the weekend if I had any questions or concerns. That, my friends, is going the extra mile and assuring a high level of client satisfaction that we find so lacking in today's disconnected society. My daughter was in 2nd grade when we started going there. When she went to college out of town, it made it to where we would have a month's notice to give for an appointment. (She never came home during the holidays.) They NEVER had openings a month in advance. The last time I tried to schedule a cleaning appointment they did not have an opening and I had to schedule it elsewhere. It really didn't have anything to do with me personally, but I was grateful to the other dentist office that welcomed us with open arms. So now we do not go to Bartlett Dental. Oh, how I miss Mary!
