Her treatment is ongoing and will be for several more years, but he is thorough, patient, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain treatment options in a way that is easy to understand. I was so pleased with him and his staff I decided to use him for my Invisilign treatment three years ago and my teeth are awesome now! I would recommend, if you are looking for an orthodontist, look no further. He is your guy. And by the way, nothing against dentists, but if you need Invisilign, use an orthodontist! I have experienced both now and it makes a difference. Orthodontists are trained to move teeth. Just because you are using trays instead of wires doesn't negate the need for that expertise. Dr. Getman spent a good deal of time, with the Invisilign folks, designing my trays. That did not happen with the dentist.

My daughter is seven and I wanted to choose an ortho office that was sensitive with kids and who puts their needs & feelings first. Before getting started I asked if I would be able to be with my daughter when she gets work done and the office manager OK'd it. (Things are a little different due to COVID changes- adults were allowed back with kids at the height of the pandemic.) However at our first appointment this was an issue and I wasn't allowed back initially which was upsetting for my daughter. (and for me.) It seemed like the front office staff member was confrontational and just not helpful or being extremely kind. We got it ironed out (which just took the office manager getting involved) and thankfully, that hasn't been an issue since. Dr. Fisher is very good at his job. My daughter has had a maxillary palate expander and we will work our way towards getting braces for her after that. I feel like Dr. Fisher is very good at focusing on the here and now of our orthodontist journey but not necessarily good about mapping out how long we'll be at each step and sharing the bigger vision. Sometimes I feel like we're a little in the dark until we get to the next step. This could just be how it works in general with orthodontist. Smiley - the therapy dog - is my daughter's favorite part of this experience by far. I think it's such a WONDERFUL thing they've got here and Smiley really does help my daughter to feel more at ease. All in all, there have been some bumps, but the staff here has been accommodating and we've had more good experiences than we have had bad. They're helping my daughter to heal and have a more functional mouth/smile/jaw and for that I'm super grateful!

From the minute you arrive until you leave, you are met with kindness, understanding, engagement, and just stellar service overall. You can tell that Dr. Damron was purposeful and thoughtful as to whom he chose to be part of the staff- no matter their role. Every person seems to fit so well with their company culture. Even the front desk personnel are a delight. Take a moment to talk to them, especially Tiffany. Now let's talk about the dental experience. I always have a terrific experience with the hygienist, Michelle. Every time I have an appointment, I feel like I'm catching up with an old friend who happens to clean my teeth. Dr. Damron is a very patient, understanding, reassuring, and a kind dentist. I've had several different services and have never had any issues. He always seems to go out of his way to make sure I'm comfortable and I've never been in any pain. Believe it or not- I've even had a minor filling done with no numbing or anything! Dr. Damron explained how shallow the filling was and reassured me that I'd feel nothing. I was a bit hesitant at first, but I appreciated that he felt like I didn't need an unnecessary shot... so I agreed. And guess what?! I felt nothing! Oh and if you ever find yourself nervous during a procedure- or even a cleaning, ask if you can wear an X-ray apron. It's got some weight to it and someone who worked there suggested it before because it's almost like a weighted calming blanket. Rest assured this practice and its staff care about you as a person and as a patient. They do not try to offer unnecessary services and they also are good about presenting alternatives. Seriously. Love. This. Place!
