Been looking for a great dentist in this city for aaaages and finally found Whole Tooth. They've…read moregot it all: - Very friendly, highly knowledgeable staff that are up on the latest research. They gave me lots of great advice on what works (and what isn't worth doing) for my teeth and gum health. - They also check out your gums (not just your teeth) which is key for a healthy mouf, and for keeping all your pearly whites. - Comfy chairs. - Clinic is fitted out with modern dental tech. Added bonus: They use digital radiography to scan your teeth (which means being exposed to much less radiation than the normal x-rays dentists often use). So, less of a chance that you'll grow a tail or go rampaging through Tokyo at some point (so maybe that's a con for some?). In a nutshell, the folks at Whole Tooth know their bidness, and made the whole process relatively painless. Highly recommended!

In reality what this means is I need double the amount of a normal person. I have read that it's a ginger thing but that claim is still being debated among the medical community. One thing is for certain, for a dentist who practices pain-free dentistry it is mildly vexing. Dr D'Netto is that pain free dentist and he is very good at his job. Throughout procedures he carefully explains what he is doing and what you can expect to experience so you don't freak out and his great aftercare advice that no one ever follows is very sensible. He doesn't get on your case about not flossing enough either. His hours are convenient - he sees the last patient about 6pm on weeknights and works alternate Saturdays. His prices are reasonable (I never pay more than about $30 after health care rebate). Dr D'Netto is somewhat local to me but even when I have lived out of the area I still come all the way. It's rare to find a great dentist and Dr D is a great dentist.
