DentalWorks did an outstanding job pulling a molar tooth today that had the crown pop off while I used my waterpik. The dental staff was very kind and provided excellent care and conversation while preparing me for the Dentist. The dentist provided really clarifying information as to why I could benefit from pulling the tooth as opposed to reattaching the crown. Good care can't be beat! I just had a cleaning today. But everyone is so kind and caring about your comfort from the moment you walk into the office and until you check out ! Everyone is very kind and welcoming. I have a back injury so it takes more time and they are never in a hurry. They just worry about your comfort! And they are excellent at their jobs to boot! read more

So...I have gone to this dental works for 4 days straight getting all my teeth finished...this place is AMAZING!! I CANT EVEN IMAGINE GOING ANYWHERE ELSE AGAIN. I have had 45 years of anxiety over terrible dental work and terrible experiences...Dr Patil and her team have changed me! Office was to stoic for a dental visit. Reception acted as if you were a burden. Cost was crazy high and procedures being done could have been done at affordable dentures in Kinston at a fraction of the cost. read more

Great experience!!!!! Husband had some extreme tooth pain on Thursday evening, I went to their website and was able to schedule an appointment for Friday morning at 8am. We came into a beautiful,clean office where we were greeted by a very sweet and welcoming receptionist. They have a very nice coffee station to allow you to get in some caffeine while you're waiting. We were patients for almost 3 years. We've waited for almost an hour for a cleaning. Because of rain and an accident we showed up 5 minutes late to a cleaning and they refused to see us. It was 400 pm and I cant imagine that it was going to mess up their schedule the rest of the day. I apologized but all they would say is would you like to reschedule? Been going to them for years. My Dentist & Hygienists are GREAT. For I'm not the best patient with my TMJ. They get 5 STARS. If they live, my family & I leave. The 2 star strike comes from the lazy admin supervisor. They have become very heavily reliable on social networks & email to communicate with patients. In stead of calling the patient(s) to inform them that the office will be closed for a period of time i.e. hurricane Florence. They post on web page & I guess other social platforms. Well, guess what, over 7/8th of the county lost power & was unable to view these sites. I guess DentalWorks admin staff prefer the patient to risk traveling thru high water & waste valuable fuel to fine out the office is closed. When all they had to do was make a simple phone call or leave a message on their answer machine. I call that lazy. If it wasn't for my Dentist & Hygienists. I'd be going somewhere where else. read more

It's been a few years since I was last here (we were transferred to Michigan for a stint) but everything is still the same...it's easy to get an appointment, you get in to your appointment on time (or very close to on time), and the staff is wonderful. What has changed is the way they do x-rays (just a small camera with the x-rays showing up immediately in front of you on the monitor) but that's just cool. I also took my 3yo son in for his first appointment and they were great with him--he wasn't a perfect patient, of course, but they were patient with him and actually managed to clean all his teeth (x-rays were another story--he just couldn't grasp the concept of biting on the plastic thing...but they didn't care and said at this age, it was good enough that he just had the starter experience of x-rays). They also hand out stickers and the kids get to pick a trinket from a toy bucket at the front desk! The only reason I'm not giving them five stars is I thought/assumed they would check my insurance coverage BEFORE his appointment to make sure everything was covered. (Yes, I could have done that as well, but dentists I've had in the past have done it for me so I honestly didn't even think about it.) Turns out, he wasn't on our policy, so we're on the hook for the $150. Live and learn on my part, I guess. But overall we're still very pleased with them and would highly recommend them. read more

Found this dentist office through insurance plan. They are the best I've ever dealt with . Everyone is pleasant friendly and very efficient. They go above and beyond to give you a pleasant experience. I had a filling break and needed a deep cleaning, which I've never experienced, they told the process and explained everything they were going to do. I experienced very little discomfort from the deep cleaning and the filling repair was painless. I'm extremely pleased with the service and professionalism of everyone in the office! read more

I've been a patient there for several years. The dentists and hygienists definitely get 5 stars. Dr, Ybanez is a great dentist and is very friendly. I deducted three strikes due to the inefficiency of the admin staff. I tried for 2 weeks to call and get an appointment. No one ever answers the phone. I need a dental implant. So I finally drove there in person to schedule an appointment with the surgeon. I was told that my appointment is on 1/11/19 and that someone would call me that week to give me a time. Well, here it is 1/10/19, no one has called me. I have called for 2 days and left several messages and no one has called me back. read more

I would rather give this business 0 or negative stars. I haven't been to a dentist in this area yet so I thought it was time to give it a shot (I normally go to my home state for my dental work). This dentist office took both my insurance plans (one from my husband and one from my employer). I was real excited to get in so I made the big phone call. This office opens at 0800 and I found it kind of odd that my first appointment was at 0800. This would have been ok if they had sent all the paperwork out to me ahead of time to fill out. Instead I spend precious office visit time filling out paperwork. Once I got done with all the paperwork I was escorted back to one of the offices. That is when the visit really went wrong. The girl was talking to me about my allergies and fear of the dentist. We were also talking about our families and I mentioned that I work full time, my husband is deployed with the military, and I just celebrated my only child's first birthday with nobody. All she could keep saying is "well at least this year has flown bye so fast!" Then after this she took my blood pressure. I can tell you right now that I was sitting in a dentist chair with my ankles crossed and my arm hanging down to my side. Sitting in that position, with my arm in that position, after talking about fears and allergies, and being a little frustrated about the chosen conversation topics with raise anyone's blood pressure. So I asked her if she would take my blood pressure again (this time i was going to sit up, uncross my ankles, and rest my arm on my lap: just like you do at the dr. office). She refused and told me that I needed to go see my doctor before they could do anything. I would not recommend this experience to my worst enemy. read more

This place was okay when I first started going there ( only because the staff was nice) but the longer I went there ( a total of 7 months almost every 2 wks) the more I saw things were not right. First off, don't ever let them sucker you into trying the six months smile( until they get more training or something). I was a case that should have been referred to an orthodontist, but instead they said I should try the six month smiles( knowing good well it wasn't going to give me the results that I needed) . They did give me a free service for bonding, if I got the six month smiles. That was the selling point for me. I later regretted this decision when the braces finally came off. When the braces came off, they left a lot of glue around my gum line( so much that when I just recently got my teeth cleaned somewhere else , the dental hygienist told me she had never seen so much glue left after someone had braces taken off). They also didn't make my retainers chair side. They had taken the mold of my teeth while I still was wearing braces, so when the braces came off and they tried to see if it fit , they were way too big and they had to rush to correct this problem because I needed retainers that night. The assistant had to spend most of my visit having to fix the badly made retainers. Also, after they did finally make me a new retainer , something was still not right . Within 2 wks after the braces were removed, I had a gap between my teeth that was not there 2 wks earlier ( obviously my teeth had shifted because the retainer was still not made properly. The bonding material they use for the retainers does not hold up either. My top retainer has already came off two times.I was supposed to get a removable retainer ( because I have paid for it) but after all the trouble I have had with the previous removable retainer , I decided to pass on them making me another. Towards the end of dealing with this place it just seemed like the six months smile is a service that they have just added and don't have much experience with it. I also referred a friend of mine to this place while I still had the braces on , to get a bonding done. I don't know what kind of material this place uses for bonding teeth , but it will not hold. My friend's bonding came off in two months time. My friend went back yesterday to get the bonding replaced and it came off last night. Please be cautious of this place! Yes they can get you in quick, but they seem to do rushed work and they also don't seem to be upfront and honest about what they can really do for you. Because of this place's not being upfront and honest, it's going to cost me another couple thousand dollars or so. read more
