I have dental anxiety and have put off going to the dentist for years. I started going to this practice several months ago and absolutely love it. The doctor is amazing and puts me at ease. I have liked every dental assistant I have had and even the checkout staff. They all have made me feel comfortable and have helped me get my dental care back on track. Quality of work and competitive pricing was greatly appreciated. Most dental offices take one insurance if at all these days. What wasn't covered wasn't astronomical. The dentist and the surgical staff were super friendly and very communicative. Front desk was amazing in scheduling me , twice, due to my change in availability. That was extra in my book! They not only charged more then my quote, they are claiming my insurance won't cover the type of tissue they used. this place is full of scammers. very dishonest. The office manager Victoria is the biggest one of them all. Im thinking she works on commission? who knows. she doesn't return calls, she speaks flat and unprofessional. she could care less that a customer is not satisfied. This was the worst experience I ever had he was so rude I always been scared of the dentist like I get an anxiety attacks but my teeth were pretty bad I was really embarrassed because of it but I wanted to get dentures so at the time I was on blood thinners so my doctor said he should only pull 2 at a time he did not care one bit so he started pulling and I wasn't numb at all but he kept pulling I came out my chair I started crying he pulled 18 teeth blood went ever wear I had my 2 kids w me now by the time he was done i thought i was gonna pass out I had no clue how I was gonna get home I had to go back 3 days in a row I had still had pieces of teeth in it and to get more stitches I bleed so much my Doctor was pissed he couldn't believe what he did and he made rude comments to me so bad I cried all I wanted was dentures which I will say my dentures were nice one last thing the ladies up front were just as rude and I had to wait for ever so if u had another choice I would definitely go there cause I wouldn't lie about something like this the only reason I am even writing this cause If I could get across u they would not go there so I just saved someone from getting the worst treatment of there life read more

This place is the absolute worse! Please beware of these scammers who should have been shut down before their doors even opened for business. Trust and believe me they will lie and tell you you need all types of extra treatments that are not covered by your insurance, just to get your money!! Also, my husband went to this location as well and these fools put a temporary crown in his mouth and told him he'd be able to go back in a couple of weeks for the permanent ones. Months went by and he'd call asking to schedule appointments in between these months and their response was "we're still waiting on supplies" then when they finally were able to take care of it months later it looked like he had rabbit teeth so he had to go back...not to mention that he didn't have a gap prior to this but when he left this place he did. When he asked why, the dentist couldn't even give him an answer!!! How terrible! She's the worst along with her staff. Then guess what happened? About 5 months after they did the permanent teeth for my husband, he was eating pizza and the darn thing cracked and he had to go elsewhere for someone else to fix their shoddy work. This is not the Dental works I would recommend to my worst enemy. The office staff are incompetent to say the least. You have to keep a consistent eye on the bill or they will charge you for services you do not receive. They will have you wait for hours past your scheduled appointment only to find out they don't have the necessary supplies and have to go to Boardman to get them. If you want to go to a Dental works go to the one in Boardman that one is fantastic. read more

I would like to think I'm a reasonable and somewhat patient person. However, I really need to get the word out about Dental Works at the Eastwood Mall. My mother had her first appointment in October of last year and we are still waiting for the necessary hardware to come in. Okay, that in itself is annoying, but she was set to come back the end of December and I was about 10 min. away from their office when they decided to call my home and tell us, they still didn't have what they needed and would have to reschedule. My husband got the call at home and called me, and since I was almost there, I paid them a visit. (I did tell my Mom if she saw police coming, to just call my husband to pick her up) lol. After "talking" to them, they assured me that they would have it by next appt. which wasn't until Jan. 7th. I called them on Jan. 6th and they said yes, everything was there and I should keep the appt. Well on the morning of the 7th, my Mother was ill and I had to call and reschedule. They wanted to charge me 45.00 because I was calling on the same day and I told them, fine I'm going to charge you guys 45.00 for calling on the same day to reschedule the last appt.. Needless to say, the office manager waived the charge. We then rescheduled for today. 15 min. before we leave, they called saying the hardware was still not in. ARE YOU F*&%ING KIDDING ME. I asked them why they lied about it being there for the last appt. and she didn't have an answer. I have never dealt with a dental office or any medical office that was so irresponsible. It's one thing if they are waiting for hardware to come in, but another to tell a person that they can keep the appt. and either not call or call within minutes of when you would be arriving. So, her next appt. is Jan. 27th, if you don't see me online, then maybe my daughter can set up a go fund me account for bail money. read more

I have been a patient at this location for 3 years. Recently I noticed things have changed. I only go to the dentist every 6 months for routine visits. On my last visit, I was there for 15 minutes for a cleaning and only saw the dental hygenist. She was not friendly and I felt as if she rushed through the job. Patients should be informed they will not see a dentist when scheduling appointments. I had another situation where I scheduled my son for a visit. When he got there, he was informed that because it had been longer than 7 months, by law a dentist must see him. Since they have his records, they should have known NOT to schedule him. I am disappointed in the staff they have there now. Eileen and Meche were great! Too bad they are not there anymore. read more

I was mislead. I was told I would be having sedation for my surgery. They only used novacain.... it's been 2 days, my mouth is so swollen I can't eat or drink. Or put my "temporary " plates (that cost me over $800.00. I had appointment today (Thursday Oct 24). Well they have NO one who could write a prescription. I have to drive to Boardman. I can NOT concentrate. If I get into an accident, I will be suing Dental Works. I will filing a grievance for this awful place . I think Medicare will be interested since they have Dental Works as a provider read more

I am so sorry that I made an appointment at this place of business. I was quoted a bill of 259 dollars on the phone for an extraction and when I got there and was asked to pay BEFORE I even had the tooth removed, the bill was suddenly 411 dollars! I don't know why, nor do I care, it just seemed like the old bait and switch to me and I will never recommend this office to anyone ever again and I am sorry if I sent anyone there on the past. Had an appointment at 10am for my daughter to have 4 teeth removed for the orthodontist. They couldn't find the order and X-ray that my dentist sent to the Boardman office even though I called the Niles office the week before to make sure they had everything they needed. At 11 we were told it would be about 30-45 minutes and to walk the mall and they would call us. At noon they hadn't called us so we came back and were told they were still waiting on supplies. They had to run to the Boardman office to get supplies they needed. My daughter didn't even get called back until 1:15 we didn't leave until almost 2 pm for a 10 am appointment. read more

Nice stuff and Dentist,but really old equipment which looks not so clean . If you don't qualify for care credit,they will not be able to help you to get your dental work done. I found now a dentist at aspen dental who will help me even with bad credit.and not turn me down like they did. Not even pain medication or antibiotics they gave to me after I said I'm in pain. They just wanted to have me out of the door as soon they knew I don't have care credit,even with insurance. If you only have minor things to get done,than this is the place for you. read more
