Very nice personal and contrarily to the only other comment I read here, the receptionists were actually really kind and truly making it work and the staff new what they were doing. It's actually where i'm planing to go back for my other tooth, who just got chipped today. I'll come change my review if the service is not excellent. But from my last experience. I had at least 3 offers for tests and x-rays during my first visit. Two main incidents marked my experience, and it might mark yours if you do not pay attention. First, I was pressured by the hygienist to do a Panoramic Exam, even after I explained that I had taken that within the last year (health Canada recommend one every 5 years...obviously for some good reason), and was assured that my insurance would pay for it, and that Health Canada is usually too strict with its recommendations. It turns out, my insurance (like any other insurance) pays for the exam only once every 5 years), and I got in my body a nice doze of radiation to deal with. Second, the hygienist went above and beyond to sell me a microbial analysis, which i refused, and explained that due to my gum disease she would only do a basic cleaning, but SURPRISE SURPRISE.. my dental claim had a full teeth cleaning charge and the holy panoramic exam fully unpaid, so I had to pay $170 dollars. A few days later I get a letter from the dentist asking for feedback about the visit, so I called and explained to the receptionist what I experience and demanded explanations, and sure enough I got a call back within 2 hours with the hygienist trying to swing left and right and not answering any of my concerns. When I simplified my questions, asking her to only tell me if she remembers telling me how my insurance will pay for the panoramic exam and that, if she were me she would do the exam... she started telling me how she cannot continue the call, and that she had to attend to another patient. I was furious that she would call me and then tell me that she had no time to speak to me. ( CALL ME WHEN YOU HAVE TIME... I DO NOT HAVE TIME EITHER). Off and I forgot, WHERE IS THE DENTIST? yeah, you get to see here for 2 minutes.... she blesses you and sends you on your way. Overall, I need everyone to remember this: - If you have insurance, RUN AWAY - You will not see a dentist, this is a hygienist colony - You will be treated like S$$$^%%t OR EVEN BETTER, JUST DON'T GO
