If you're looking for a great church home....check this church out! Very casual, but very friendly! I have no doubt you will feel God's presence while you're there. I've been a member of several churches in the past; but never one like this one! We have one of the best bands in the area too. The new Event Center is in the process of being built for rodeos, bull riding and any other events. I have been attending this church for almost 4 years now and it has grown so much that our Pastor has to preach two sermons on Sunday mornings. Once the Event Center is built; a new, bigger church will be built to accommodate more people to go back to having only one morning service on Sundays. Come on out and be Blessed! read more

Despite its smaller size, the church felt vibrant and it was pretty packed for a midday Mass. The priest gave an excellent homily, though the deacon was a bit hard to understand. Overall, we really enjoyed Mass here. We did arrive late and even then, had no trouble finding a seat. Notable perk: the seats and kneelers are super cushioned and probably some of the most comfortable I've experienced. There seemed to be many opportunities to get involved with the congregation, even for children's ministries. I'd definitely like to come back!

Although there are two daycares quite close to our house, they either didn't have good reviews or had poor state ratings. We became interested in the Krum CDO because they had strong state ratings, and after touring and talking with the director Laury, we decided to try it. Laury was a great initial contact person and she understood how we were feeling and answered all of our many questions. The Krum CDO has a been a wonderful place for our baby. Sadly, we're moving, and won't be able to continue attending, but I wanted to take the time to thank everyone for their amazing care. If we weren't moving, we'd never leave this place. We got to know the staff in both the infant and toddler rooms, and the teachers are unfailingly attentive, patient, helpful, instructive, fun and, above all, loving and kind. Knowing that our son is happy to be there and gets not only to interact with other kids but also with experienced and knowledgeable teachers has made this transition so much easier. We feel totally confident in and deeply grateful for the care he's received. They've helped us troubleshoot health questions and taught him things like blowing kisses and waving bye. The staff is always willing to chat about any issues and are always so careful with the little guys and gals attending. When we arrive at the CDO, our baby begins wiggling in his carseat and looking around to see who's there. It's hard to leave him but it's also great knowing that he's so content and well cared for. Thanks to everyone for the job you do. We can't say thanks enough. We'll miss you all and be wishing you all the best.

I came out as Bisexual a few years into…read moreattending this church and no one ever questioned me on it and I didn't particularly speak about it often, because it doesn't affect the church. I served on the Kids Experience Team and never ONCE spoke about sexual orientation to any child, parent, or guest, as it is not my place nor in my prerogative to do so. I did come out to some of my friends who also were on the Kids Experience team. From that, someone told the leader of that team(at the time). The leader of the team and the campus pastor then proceeded to conduct a meeting with all of the people I told, not including me, and told all the parents to bring their kids to church early for said meeting. When one parent said she knew who it was(and didn't mention a name) they said my name when referring to me after that, proving they do NOT care about the PRIVACY of their members, by doing this they put me at risk. I would like to also mention the way we found out about this meeting was through another parent, they did not tell us that this was happening. They then scheduled a meeting with my parents and "outed" me to them(they already knew). My parents told them they would NOT be returning or donating anymore money to church who encourages hate. After 2 weeks, they finally scheduled a meeting with me, telling me I was off the Kids team and to "go on my journey with god." These people told me to talk to god about my sexuality and urged me to keep coming to their church. They told me I was the first person to serve with them to be "suspended" from the kids team because of this reason. After that I kept going to services, hoping that maybe I would feel better. I don't know if I was just more intune with it than before or what the deal was, but EVERY SERMON, no matter the circumstance, talked about how being gay was a sin and it was horrible and you shouldn't do it blah blah blah. After that I left, and 2 other family's left as well. I would never suggest this church to anyone, the way they treated me after this I will never forget. I haven't been to church for years because of this situation and fell into a depression. I started condemning God for the things that these people put me through, because that's what I associated with him. I have found my way back but I still suffer many doubts because of these individuals. I have never been to church that embodied the expression "No better hate than christian love" more.

He wrote a book…read moreabout the cloud, and that cloud is the cloud of the leadership's farts and as they puff each other up and enjoy the scent. Their "worship" music is awful and written by their music team, and rarely even mention God. Now they are starting a campaign to milk their attendees out of 25 million dollars. Avoid this place like the plague, at least until they get their grubby hands on all that money! They are going to tell people to cash in their 401K's to fund. Have heard this one before! Only a glutton for punishment would attend this place!

They don't deal in dogma --but they'll tell you straight about what the bible clearly says, what things remain ambiguous, and what has just been inserted through Christian tradition. I love the humility of hearing "Some things you need read your bible, pray and talk to talk to God about, yourself." If something is one of the pastors' opinions, they're very clear about that..and how they came to that conclusion. That's a church I can trust. They don't want people to check their brain at the door and blindly accept whatever's being said. They ecourage participation & serving.. and they have a great special needs ministry. I gave my life to Christ the first time I went because I was so moved! The worship is beautiful and sets the mood for you to connect with God perfectly. I didn't feel pushed or out of place at all. The pastor even offers a monthly evening where he meets with you to tell you more about the churches specific beliefs and to get to know him and some of the staff better. They give so much of their income to other missions and what not that they believe in and put little back into the church, but enough to be able to provide for a great staff, lots of events, and a good kids education. I'm thankful that my family came across this beautiful place that God has planted in Denton!
