Contrary to some reviews the service was abysmal and insulting. We went in during our lunch time with the express purpose of buying a mattress. We were the only customers in the store. A man and another employee were there. Eventually we must have looked uncomfortable enough that he came over, made a comment and left. We had to almost yell at him to return as he walked away. He casually mentioned, "Try this one" and pointed to a mattress as he left. When we realized we were notgetting any more attention from him because he was on the phone with had to be either a very funny superior or his BFF, we left. He never acknowledged us. Maybe another shift, another employee and we might get some of the "great" service in other reviews. Money lost Denver Mattress. The Denver Mattress experience I had today was like night and day. Response to my first post prompted a response from several at Denver Mattress. The District Manager was very professional and eager to make our experience pleasant. We went to the store and was greeted very warmly by Diana. She had no idea we had posted a negative review. Diana, with a smile and laugh, helped us. It was then we told her who we were. Nothing changed. Within minutes we were working on finalizing our new purchase. Since she did not know us previously I know their practice is to be friendly and helpful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a great clearance section with high-end beds on sale -- I got about 40% off the listed price of a king-sized bed. They also have a package you can purchase alongside a bed with a mattress cover or pad, pillowcase covers, and new pillows. I came in to look by myself and told a staff member I would be back with my boyfriend later in the day. The staff member remembered my name and had even told another staff member to look out for me, just in case he was busy. The delivery was 2 days from purchase. Lost a star in the review because on their phone messages the time was listed as 10 am to 12 pm MOUNTAIN standard time (11 am to 1 pm central time) and the guys showed up at 10:30 am central. I bought their entry price point queen size mattress set for $360 and I am impressed with the quality for the money. I spoke with Diana on the phone and she was very helpful. When I picked up the mattress I was in and out in 10 minutes. All the employees were very helpful. I cannot speak for their higher end beds, but if you are looking for a quality bed under $500, I would check this place out. They helped me find the perfect bed for college. read more

Friendly staff, just not sure if they feel like they have better things to do sometimes. I looked around and then a guy helped and he was nice, but he let me walk around and the next time I saw him he was looking at his phone and quickly covered up by saying he couldn't find me, it's not that big of a store. The prices are ok, and they have some damaged items in the back to loom through, just not sure what bed I want and whether I want one from there or elsewhere. read more

Update! Within 24 hours Mike from Denver Mattress got back with us and fixed our situation entirely. I definitely had to update my review to 5 stars. While mistakes were made at the store level the corporate level is extremely competent. After this experience I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again and I would recommend them if asked. Mistakes happen but the promptness of a response and commitment to correcting the issue make this a company I respect and would use again. Great Product and Very Impressed with the service. The best experience ever!!! Took my 88 yr old mom into the store last Friday, 4/18/14 to look at mattresses that would raise up and down and massage. We were greeted by a salesperson named Jayson. He walked over and immediately began talking to my mom about what she wanted. He had a vast knowledge of your products and right away was able to help mom decide on the one she loves. He allowed her to lie on it and didn't seem rushed at all when it took her extra time to get out of her wheelchair. She asked him to help her with pillows and a chore that normally would take us several hours to decide on was made quickly and simply with his asking a few questions and then going and getting precisely what she asked for. He made her feel as if he truly cared about her sleep and comfort. Thank you so much for the kindness you showed my mother. It was one of the nicest things to happen in a very long time. When her mattress was delivered on Tues 4/22/14 the gentlemen who brought it were also very nice and again asked my mom questions regarding the height and positioning. Once that was decided they had her bed set up and were leaving in less than 10 minutes. Today I phoned to check on the 5" feet for the bed that Jayson ordered because he felt correctly that the 7" ones that came on it were a bit too tall. I spoke with a woman named Marrissa and again had the most pleasant experience. Within minutes she had checked and found out they had been ordered and would be in within a week and we would be called. She was very nice and asked if mom was enjoying her bed. What a true blessing your staff are. Thank you so much for sharing them with my family and allowing us to return over and over to your store when we need products. Mom loves her mattress and the massager and especially the new pillows Jayson helped her with. She has bragged to her friends about Jayson knowing exactly what she needed.
