Second time Tommaso bike owner and will always be a customer for life…read more Chris and his team always do the right thing for their customers and their bikes are priced right and light years better than what you'll find from bikesdirect or the other places that sell Motobecanes and Windsors and Gravity bikes.

They helped me throughout the process of ordering, and when I ordered the bike, they remembered who I was when they packed the bike! They wrote me a message in the box (handwritten) and when I received the box, I was really surprised by the nice note. The bike was packed well. I didn't have any problems with assembly. The bike was relatively easy to assemble. When I bought the bike, there was a promotion for a seat bag, water bottle, air pump, and bike tools. All of those items were included with the bike when I received the bike. Upon riding the bike, I realized that it needed some adjustments so I took the bike to the local bike shop. They made the adjustments and the bike rode fine. I contacted GiantNerd in chat and told them about the adjustments. They were very nice and understanding when I explained my concerns. They gave me a credit in the same amount of the invoice of the bike shop. I thought this was really fair. GiantNerd takes the time to listen to the customer, help during the ordering process, and is open for feedback and reviews. I left a positive review on GiantNerd's website as well.

I will probably never order a bike through DICKS again. The process is absurd and frustrating…read more It's not that it takes 7-10 days to arrive. It's not that it takes more days to be built and that they only have a couple of builders. It's that I called to clarify the process, because the email messages were not clear. That took time. They said I'd be called when it had arrived and was ready to be built. I received a text it was "ready for pickup." I called to be SURE, because that's not what I was told would happen. The person was short with me a with frustration said, "they will call YOU." So more time, more waiting, more unnecessary confusion. 2 weeks later, I get a call that it will be ready in 2 days and that (again) they'd call. That day arrives, no call. So the following day, I call. To my surprise, the manager says to me that it's "no longer part of the system" because it's been too long. That "after 45 days" it's been removed and a refund submitted. Not only had it not been 45 days, but I had been diligent, and even treated like I was putting them out by checking in so much. I was incredibly frustrated with the manager and expressed that this was an error in THEIR SYSTEM they needed to address. She didn't want to hear me and continued speaking to me as if it was ME who wasn't there when I should be. She held it for me "as a curtesy" as if she was doing me a favor. Then on top of it, when I got the bike home, I realized one of the air caps wasn't there. A small issue, but still the icing on the cake after almost a month of back and forth. There is clearly a disconnect happening in this process, and the last thing most people will want to do is spend hundreds up to over a grand on a bike to deal with this type of nonsense.
