His state of the art equipment pin pointed to the root cause of my issue: exposed nerve and a decaying tooth. I thought him no more than 1 hour to perform a root canal procedure, which completely eliminated my pain and anyone who is or was dealing with a pain knows that you will do anything to stop it. Well, you don't have far to go. Dr. Yudkin has a magical touch. With that said, I am not sure which is more correct description of his specialty: endodontist, pain management doctor or just a best professional you can find and deal with. But after seeing his staff, talking to the staff, then later talking to him, I was sure he could help me. I was in terrible pain, and could not talk properly. They understood, and were very compassionate. I cry when writing these words, because I remember how terrible I was, back then. My words were garbled, and I was in pain. The staff took care of me, and re-assured me that things were going to be ok. Dr. Yudkin had state of the art dentistry equipment, and his office was very clean. I was put in good hands. He performed root canal, and relieved me of my pain. He is truely dedicated to his work. God bless him. I was able to sleep at nights, and live a normal life again. Oh my, what a joy to have good dental work. If not for Dr. Yukin, my face would show pain, and discomfort, and I would have to eat soup for a very long long time. He would not revisit this tooth because "it's dead" and said it was the tooth in front cause the pain, which was not accurate. A second opinion confirmed it was the root canal tooth. There was root still remaining, an ill fitting crown causing poor bite, and too large post caused terrible pain. An endo and new dentist took months to be able to save my tooth from extraction and manage my pain. I normally don't share feedback but felt I needed to be honest here as the work performed was not quality, rushed and often felt my concerns were not taken seriously. On top of that, having to pay again OOP for a $1000+ procedure months later.

They also attempt to "sell" services during your exam typically included in an exam by every other dentist I've seen. Once I questioned the receptionist about a billing issue and told her I had to go through this after every visit. She then told me I should consider going somewhere else. I went to this office because they accepted my insurance but you get what you pay for. They make up the difference by selling treatments and services that aren't necessary. Unfortunately for me, when it came time to pay the bill, it was nearly $500. When I asked the billing manager why the discrepancy, she said it was because the quoted price was "per tooth". Shame on me for not asking a detailed follow-up question before scheduling the appointment but also shame on the billing manager for not clarifying her answer as she knew from my original question that I was not looking for a bill in the "hundreds of dollars".
