I found Minks on Yelp and reached out to them to help me purchase a bike to use for a few days as I traveled around. The responsiveness of the shop was extraordinary. Ole and Mink provided the highest level of customer service. They found a bike for me in less than 2 days. They personally delivered the bike to my hotel and help me fit the seat and made some last minute adjustments. How do you beat that outreach for customer service? I was absolutely humbled by their patience and kindness. They represent their country well. I am trying to get these guys to open a branch in the US. Go Minks! You have made a customer for life.

I was told that they'd call once it was done. 30 minutes later, I got a phone call that my bike was all fixed and ready to for pickup. I returned back and picked up my bike which was good as new all for 8 euros. This is quite good considering the chain joint replacement costs about 4 euros. The shop has two people working in it and they do both sales and repairs of bikes. I didn't look too keenly at their bikes but its pretty safe to say its more catered to the common rider; didn't see many road bikes. That said I own a road bike and they fixed it for me so that isn't a limitation on their repair services.

    Am vergangenen Freitag habe ich dort um Nachziehen der Radhalterung von meinem Rennrad gebeten…read more Dies wurde mir-wissentlich des Risikos für meine Sicherheit-von einem älteren korp.Mitarbeiter mit der Begründung versagt, dass ich mein Fahrrad für mehrere Tage dort abgeben müsse und dafür einen dementsprechenden Preis zu entrichten habe. Dies seien neue Regelungen, die der neue Inhaber bestimmt hat-und er sei deshalb nicht befugt, die wenigen Minuten für das Befestigen von Virder-unf Hinterrad zu erübrigen. Da ich beruflich auf mein Fahrrad angewiesen bin und bis zum letzten Freitag aus gesundheitlichen Gründen nicht arbeiten konnte, war ich gezwungen, mich mit einem unguten Gefühl auf den Rückweg zu machen. Als ich den dicht befahrenen Poelchaukamp erreichte, versuchte ich sofort, so weit wie möglich rechts zu halten, um die sich hinter mir befindlDenichen PKWs vorbeifahren zu lassen. Denn mit dem nicht gut befestigten Vorderrad lag mir an besonderer Achtsamkeit; um keinerlei Unfall zu riskieren. Beim Versuch , rechts rantzufahren, erwischte mich ein 1x2 Meter große s Schlagloch-dabei löste sich daa Vorderrad und ich stürzte auf die Fahrbahn. Glücklicherweise war kein Fahrzeug dicht hinter mir und bis auf einen leichten Schhock, einer starken Knieprellung und Unterarmprellung ist weiter nichts Ernstes passiert. In der Hoffnung, einem anderen Menschen mit einem ähnlichen Problem wird nach diesem Geschehniss Hilfe im Notfall von den im Grindelberg beschäftigten Fachleuten erhalten. Trotz der neuen Geschäftsregelungen im Kundensupport... Edit:Im Fahrradgeschäft Gertigstrasse/Ecke Forsmannstrasse wurde mir innerhalb von wenigen Minuten sehr freundlich, unentgeltlich nd kompetent geholfen....!

    Since living in Hamburg I have bought 4 bikes from 3 shops. Clearly being in a city where cycling…read moreis more or less the #1 way to get around you will expect a bike store on every corner. So MSP was chosen for my new bikeonly because I already have a Trek Hybrid from England (I love it) and wanted to look at the ION-CX. A dealer check on the Trek website pointed to MSP. So over I went, and guess what they don't really do Trek bikes well not that I could see anyway. Perhaps they are an authorised dealer but mainly in the store they carry Hamburg (but well respected) brand Bergamont bikes. To cut a long story short, I bought a CX bike from them and so far have been very happy. They slotted in my pre-sale check (bearing in mind we were a couple of weekends away from the Cyclassics) the same day and since then I have covered nearly 200kms on my great new bike. I also left my Trek in for a service. At 40 euro or so its good value and I havent had it serviced for 3 years so it really needed doing. Unfortunately the bill came in at EUR250 for new brakes, new back wheel, new cassette, new chain which even though it's a lot or work is waaay higher than I would pay in the UK and actually not massively less than I paid for the bike in the first place! However that apart, the staff were keen and friendly even with very little English and putting up with my super awful German; they care about bikes and seem very easy to deal with. So I will keep using them for my servicing, and am pretty happy to far..
