We had photos with Joseph and the team from Derby Photography for our church directory. Sitting session was quick, efficient and professionally managed - Joseph. 3 different poses with a family of 7 wrapped up in 10 minutes. We we're offered more but we declined. The digital review of the photos/poses was handled very well, and the tech provided her opinion where we were unsure to help make final selections. Joseph even popped in to help give insight and offer options. All around a great experience with the sitting/selection process. Now just awaiting the delivery of the photos/digital files. My daughter had her senior pictures taken at the Derby Studios and the photographer was kind and patient. He took photos inside and outside. There were over 100 to choose from and they were all so good that we had a hard time narrowing them down. We just picked them up and they are wonderful. I would recommend the keepsake memory book, she will have this for along time. I have two more children and we will be going to Derby for their pictures too. read more

They did my sons school photos in October and my son always does a nice big smile for the camera but when he came home he was upset because they told him to stop smiling so much so his picture doesn't look like he's even happy. ON TOP OF THAT! It took them 2 and a half months to even charge my card after I get a confirmation of my card being accepted BUT since it was close to Christmas and I had already received the pictures I assumed it had been charged. Well I get a call December 23rd saying my card was declined! I called and the manager was so unorganized and couldn't even find my invoice and wanted to call me back instead of having an issue resolved! This place has horrible management and customer service skills and I will never use them or let them do photos for my family again! read more

I am very disappointed with my experience with Derby. I used Derby for my wedding, and we just got the pictures. They are horrible. Out of 505 pictures, we could only find 20 that we really liked. Most are so far away you can't even tell who is in the picture. There is only 1 picture of me walking down the isle, and none of the look on my husband's face when he first saw me. On the day of the wedding the photographer was extremely rude! He never smiled and when asked if I could have some pictures with my sisters he seemed mad. There were more pictures of the flower girl than pictures with my husband. We had to ask him of pictures of just my husband and I. Hello it's our wedding!!! Not only that, but when I got the pictures there are many that have random hands in them (the posed ones) that could be clearly cropped out, but they are not. My experience was horrible, and I would not recommend this company to anyone. The most important day of my life now has some of the worst pictures to remember it by. read more
