Steve and his assistant Rachelle did a great job for my daughter's wedding. The weather failed to cooperate so we were forced indoors for some of the photo-shoot. Steve turned the difficult location into some very nice pictures of the group. As we were leaving, the weather cleared up briefly. He grabbed the bride and groom and got some BEAUTIFUL outdoor sunset shots. His prices were fair and the pictures were delivered on time as promised. I'd definitely consider using Midwest Photgraphics again in the future. read more

Steve Toepp is a fraud and a thief!!! I had him do videography for a play I wrote, where I would use some of the footage in a film I was planning. I PAID THE MAN THE AGREED-UPON AMOUNT. After paying him, he said he could do some edits for an ADDITIONAL amount. I said okay, but then when he provided the edits, HE HIMSELF said the edited footage wasn't all that great (I think he had an underling do it) and then he expected me to pay the extra amount because he spent EXTRA time trying to get the edits up to par. The edits had BASIC things THAT SHOULD'VE BEEN DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE, like fixing the audio so there wasn't an echo whenever the sound on stage was astute. Things that should have been delivered as part of the raw footage package for any professional, but I even left that aside. I said he can keep his edits. Thus, I said "just give me the RAW footage" without his edits and I'll do with it what I need. HE NEVER GAVE IT TO ME. He said I had to pay the additional money or no footage EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY PAID FOR THE BASIC FOOTAGE. This man is a thief, a coward, and a liar. He essentially STOLE MY MONEY AND RAN, like the coward he is. To this day, I've received not one piece of footage and it's close to 2 YEARS LATER. I guess that fits pretty nicely with his loyalty. Never again will I use him or any of his associates, friends, nephews, nieces, aunts, etc. read more
