My mother in law chose to leave this establishment based on how she was spoken to and treated. She had wondered if race was a factor here and I sure hope this wasn't the case. And the lady prepares their own smoked meat, and uses it to serve one of the most simple and delicious smoked meat sandwiches anywhere - as good or better than any I've had in Montreal. I wish I knew their names. It's a perfect spot to stop after skiing at Owl's Head or Jay Peak. They also have hot soups and other foods. Usually open until 6-7pm. If you get there before 5pm, be sure to grab some desert down the street at Owl's Bread - which is a supremely delicious bakery/restaurant - but with very limited hours. They are also very supportive of the snowmobile community and offer multiple gas pumps that is helpful for fueling. At times it is super busy.
