Just found out that RIG cancelled our home owners policy about 6 months ago and never told us…read morebecause we had a dog that was questionable. It's not a dangerous breed by any means. Not one phone call or email to let us know. In fact, they have been calling us to sell a bundle with our car insurance even though our home policy was cancelled. Good thing none of these storms hit our home. We could have been in a bad situation. Poor, in fact, zero communication. Pretty sure they have to give you a notice if they are going to cancel a policy. Save yourself and go somewhere else! All they care about is sales and they will give you a big sales show to convince you and try to gain your trust. It's all just a show. Don't believe their lies! Blake, the owner sold it to us. I wouldn't trust him at all and you shouldn't either!

I have been made to feel very unimportant to them... and when it comes to making any kind of claim, they try to talk you out of it... using what seemed to be scare tactics in order to get you to just pay for the damage yourself. I left messages for the co-owners of the company, Edd Akers and David Arney, and neither took the time to even return my phone calls. The poor customer service apparently starts at the top and trickles down. Very disappointed in this company after having been a loyal customer for 8+ years. I have switched to a different agency.
