The technician came, stayed for 15 minutes or so and simply told me the whole system needs replacement. His diagnostic didn't provide voltages test, whether the indoor motor fan or control board needed replacement. All he wrote was that he was unable to take measurement and that it 'looks' like there are multiple problems. Trying to sell me a new system that's twice what I paid 10 years ago. I regret ever calling them!

I called JCD to tell them and said that as they had just been there I shouldn't have to pay for the residential call again. They refused and said that it was probably a 'different' problem than the one they had repaired. I was not willing to spend another $400. on a company that would not guarantee their repairs, especially after only a week. I think this company overcharges and is dishonest. Stay away from them at all costs.

Their technician was in the are and came within 30 min. while the other ones could not come before another 2-3 days. He came, checked and told me the gaz pressure was too low. He added some gaz for 150$. I knew that recycled gaz is not produced anymore, but only recycled and resold and therefore, it's more expensive every year. Problem was fixed easily and the air got colder within a few minutes. Do I recommend them? Absolutely.
