Tried to request they come to quote a job I needed done. I was sent on a game of phone tag that led nowhere. when I called back, they hung up on me. Their customer service should take some customer service lessons. Called them to get a quote on backwater valve installation but their customer service representative was extremely rude like I owe him something. Not something you expect from someone whom you gonna do business with. EDIT: soon as I posted this review, someone from their team called me and explained why they can't provide an estimate over phone or through a non-paid visit. Buyer beware. I had a Moen kitchen faucet with a retractable (pulldown) spray hose leaking at the base. I called Levine for a quote and was advised a service call was $ 195 plus extra time. When advised the faucet was more than 25 years old w/o a blink i was told it was best to replace it at a cost of $ 700-800, without so much as determining the real problem. I checked out a few u-tube videos and although not a handyman I determined the issue was a pinprick hole in the hose. The replacement cost was $ 27.00 at The Home Depot. I purchased it and installation took less than 15 minutes. I would never recommend this company for any work. read more

Had them come repair an out side water sprout /outlet and they charged me over $600 for the repair. On top of t there is still some noticeable running water. I WILL NEVER recommend them to anyone else or drive any work their way. read more

Unfortunately, within a couple of months, the sink they sold me broke again. It wouldn't have been a big fix but I am not a handyman and didn't really know what the issue was (I'd have needed some appropriately sized Allen Keys to tighten it). Add to the fact that it broke twice within a couple of months and I didn't trust it not to break again soon, I believed I got a defective product. Even worse was the amount of time it took to get a replacement, though I don't entirely blame them for it, since part of the issue was their supplier not returning their calls and the summer months making it worse. Their customer service was very nice and they did try to make up for it by keeping me updated as well as not charging me for any replacements or follow-up work, but the amount of time it took them frustrated me to no end. Maybe things will work better once the Pandemic is over, or at least not during prime vacation time, though the latter does not fill me with confidence in case something goes wrong in the summer or winter. I appreciate their efforts to make things right, but maybe they need to diversify their suppliers in case something like what happened to me occurs, so a client isn't stuck for months waiting for a fix from an unresponsive supplier. read more

my mothers toilet had broken and she is 99 years old. Still living at home I called Leavine brothers after running to Canadian tire to get a chain that didn't work in that toilet tank. They were there within two hours so friendly, so courteous so clean fixed at 123 and explain to me that the reason I could not fix it myself was that the toilet was an American standard and needed parts that were American Standard . how much I appreciated their expedited service, and I will only call them in the future. read more

The work they did was left me highly unsatisfied. They were good on the phone but after the work was completed I was very unhappy after spending a lot of money. They sent one guy, did botched the job after working extensively, then they sent another guy to fix the original work which and he removed some of the original stuff, did other work and left a huge mess as well. I needed to install a new single-handle kitchen faucet, not sure it would fix the noise a previous new (double-handle) one made, considering I'm in an older building. The service coordinator on the phone was very patient and friendly, answering all my questions, even 'silly' ones. I got an appointment fast, coordinating it with the faucet delivery. The plumber was on time, Covid ready, and did the installation very efficiently without the mess sometimes make by our often under-appreciated trades-workers. He even put in turn-off valves under my sink to make any future repairs easier. When he went to turn off the main in my hot water closet before installing the valves, he asked me to turn on the bathroom fixtures just before he did, then to turn them back off. This sounds like a small thing, but it actually fixed a slow cold water tap left broken for 2 weeks by the last 2 workers who turned off the main improperly, even though I showed it to them. The Levine Bros. plumber wasn't aware of the issue, but I was so happy this method fixed the tap, which is at full pressure again. I call this being proactive, thinking ahead. Not just fixing what's on the paper. I emailed the company in order that his supervisor is aware of his good work. The new faucet is quiet now, and I can get back to enjoying cooking! read more

I asked the Levine Bros to come to my home for a second opinion on an estimate I didn't trust. They very simply explained the plumbing issue and let me know that the other company's estimate was a valid one. I then asked them to quote on several other issues around my house and in each case they gave honest pragmatic answers, options and even recommended other contractors who could help (in the case of HVAC). As I result, I realized we didn't need them to do any work in the near future. They saved me money and a whole lot of worry. These are very knowledgeable, trustworthy decent folks. I was lucky to meet Jonathan who gave an estimate for my mums house, unfortunately she had to be hospitalized for quite some time, when she was better and home I called him, and even though it was quite a lengthy delay on my part he stood by his previous quote, in fact he even tried to bring it down for her. Wasted a whole day off work waiting on these guys. Apparently if you're not already one of their customers this is how you get treated. I'll be giving my business to a company that actually deserves it. They made me wait all day for nothing...Angela called me to try and reschedule at the end of the day. Even though she confirmed they didn't have an emergency and that I was next in line they still needed to cancel my appointment and when I resisted and asked to speak with a manager she said they would call me back. A man named Jason called me back and said based on the pictures I had sent they weren't sure they could fix my problem because it is not a brand name...that I would have to change the whole unit etc. I asked him why were they only discussing this with me now when they had those pictures weeks ago?? He said he would check and call me back...he never did. Anyway long story longer, I sent an email to Angela and told them I will take my business elsewhere. A whole day lost...my time is valuable, too! Now I have to start the search all over. read more
