Laurie told us all about the school and answered any questions. She gave us the opportunity to visit the classrooms and see how things run. My husband went to a Montessori school as a child, so he experienced a flood of happy memories. It was everything he dreamed of for our active little boy. We returned the next week with our little boy so he could join a class. The staff wanted to see how he fit in. Everything felt good, so we moved forward with enrollment. He's currently doing day care, but will do preschool this coming fall. Our plan is to do three full days a week (you can do full or half days, 3-5 days a week). To start the process of getting our son comfortable, they like to begin with five days. If possible, they like for one parent to stay with the child so they can leave early (probably a half day to start). This is allowing our son a smooth transition. Every child is different, so things can be adjusted depending on how they handle it. I look forward to posting again later once we've spent more time here and learn more. But we love this place so far!!

My child was only going part time in the pre-toddler room, 3 days a week, yet he was ALWAYS sick! And when I say "always" I mean just that. No, not just your typical cold and runny noses. I get children will pass things on, I mean after all this was NOT his first daycare facility and I didn't have any issues at his prior. My job required me to leave the state so I ended up in Ohio at this horrible place. The front desk ladies are nice, I'm not too fond of the new director they had gotten during our time there but the teachers I wasn't too fond of...Sue, Brandy and I forgot the other brunette's name. I'm getting ahead of myself...my son was always sick because of the lack of cleaning going on in the facility. They can make the facility look clean in the sense of nothing out of place but the germs are living strong. I know there were various dinosaur toys in his room that were NOT being properly cleaned. I am use to dipping all the toys in hot sanitized water twice a day, during their nap and at the end of the day. None of this went on here. Also my son ALWAYS cried when I left him there, says a lot. Also one day his daily sheet read no wet diaper until 3pm that afternoon, I dropped him off at 8am everyday and I am thankful they didn't think ahead to lie on his sheet but how they thought only 1 wet diaper was acceptable in the hot summer is beyond me!! No drinks of water throughout the hot summer day and even if it weren't summer my kid and yours deserves unlimited amounts of clean, fresh and cold water. My poor child, thirsty all that time! The food is pretty limited too. He was ALWAYS hungry when I picked him up and he's an excellent eater! Also! I did a pop up on them and he was locked in an area in so much distress the teachers even looked at me like "uh oh, we're caught". The dry diapers were my last straw as with the croup illness he got and passed to his brother who didn't even go to the facility. My oldest son had a terrible breathing issue because of this croup he got from my youngest attending this dirty school! Do NOT send your child. If you want care In Huber heights I suggest early beginnings ! Loved it there just keep track of your account!

But starting late cause the kids to be playing during the snow or freezing temperatures. They added a game for the week following the "close" of the season. They have no regard for parents schedules. Season should be starting Saturday sept 5th. It's been postponed to sept 13th. But some teams will have games Saturday the 5th. I have 2 kids and have no schedule for either kids team. How am I supposed to schedule life if they can't get me a schedule and not make last minute changes?!? If the refs are as bad this year as last it's going down. U4 games should last 30 mins max. One of our daughters last over an hour because the ref couldn't keep track of time! Hire people who know how to use a stopwatch or tell time. I left the sports director a voicemail and I've still not gotten a call back. They do not prioritize timeliness. Practice schedules went out the week before they started. It's no surprise the teams barely have 9 players each. Parents don't want the bullcrap.
