First visit for relative. Spent more time telling us about the practice than examining. Mentioned an issue - "you would need to see a specialist for that? No referral before we left. This is an elderly person Just worst experience ever. If it was for myself, I would be done with this practice. All the kiosks are ridiculous with an elderly person this saves no one money. Wheelchairs for the building do not fit through the doors and requires assistance to have the doors held open. If the person was wheeling themselves their hands would be crushed. Been a patient from this clinic since 2013. The policies have changed to maximize profit. Now you have to have 2,3,4 different appointments if you mace more than 1 symtom or question. I had to go 3 times, was not able to get a prescription refill before losing insurance. read more

Horrible experience today at the Bedford, NH location. Front office support is the worst. For annual physical, was informed I could get my labs done a week prior to the physical. I drove to NH from Massachusetts and waited an hour to have blood drawn. Once served, it was determined no lab orders were available. Called Bedford DMC front office of which they told me lab order was expired (just talked to them a week prior about scheduling labs mind you). Courtney informed me there was nothing she could do. I fasted all night and morning and drove 30+ miles to receive such a nasty response. Hopefully, I will, eventually, get a lab order and do this all over again before my physical exam (not holding my breath). I am very loyal to my primary care physician, Dr. Koshy, and have been seeing him for over 20+ years as I still see him even though I relocated to Massachusetts. However, at this point, I may have to change primary care services to something more local to Massachusetts. This is unfortunate, as Dr. Koshy is the best! However, I cannot say the same for his support staff at the Bedford location. read more

"Derry Imaging" we have tried to get a fax from Elliott Urology Derry/Manchester for over a week... Manager of Elliott Urology says she has a stack of faxes that won't go through. Derry Imaging says they have faxes coming in all day. I say Derry Imaging desperately needs 3 designated fax lines to receive the fax flow that is coming through to them. My husband needs his Cat Scan!! So ridiculous that this is taking over 7 days! read more

Dr lynn Dugan, touched herself more than even bothered with my broken finger. I could tell from jump she didn't really want to bother with my appointment! My dressing was a mess under the splint and she couldn't even bother. Total waste of a co pay I recommend a different doctor or just google it is better than subjecting yourself to that. Office experience is terrible. Not only is it factory-like (very hard to call and get a HUMAN), but they often make clerical errors. For instance, 3 years IN A ROW I call ahead for them to order a blood test. I show up and the order isn't there- regardless of how far in advance I call. I call DMC and they say they will get it out immediately, and NOPE. Apparently, your time and convenience means nothing. Current Dr. is decent, but last one missed SKIN CANCER, when I pointed out my concern. I got concerned and contacted a skin Dr. who verified, did a biopsy, and excised it. As of today, I am losing DMC and finding a real practice (good luck to me!). If I were you, I would look elsewhere, or waste your valuable time calling, and calling and calling to get marginal service. Their service borders on criminal! read more

The doctors at DMC specialty care(14 tsienetto rd second flr) are fantastic with good bedside manner, but when you get there the reception desk is just bad. It took them 20 minutes to check people in for their 1pm appts and last time I was there another gentleman was complaining that he was supposed to be seen an hr prior. The front desk is someones first impression of the office, this should be better managed. Also, when I received my itemized bill, my doctor was covered under my insurance, but the nurse wasn't and her charges were insane. If I show up with a specific insurance. I only want to be seen by providers under that umbrella. read more

I have been going to DMC for over 30 years. Watching all the growth they have achieved has made me so proud. They have not lost that small town feel and attentiveness I experienced from the very beginning. Now that I am in my sixties they have not lost sight of my growing issues with diabetes and spinal problems. Even suggesting the top in the field professionals who have saved my life. The office personnel always have smile and greet me by name. Even my three grown children go there for PCP. read more

Every patient is a customer - you are a money symbol to them- this is a corporate run business. They do not care about your health and wellness, period. They make charges out of no where, their communication is lackluster and if you don't pay your balance (even a mysterious 60$ balance that they make up) they lock your account and refuse to schedule your appts. The call center admins are as rude as they get and their "managers" or department heads could care less the stress they cause you. It's a spin cycle of complete chaos. read more

Doctors and receptionists are not good people at all post 2020. They will make sure no matter how much pain or distress you're in, that you are just a dollar sign and they refuse to help until they get that credit card. Even then. their doctors, specifically Dr Koshi, will just treat you like you're a robot and the same as every person in the world, and will try to force his political scientific beliefs on you. Has never listened to me and the unique conditions I have. I recently this week, 7/2/2024, had a wisdom tooth pulled out as an unexpected last minute emergency at my dentist during another tooth extraction. My dentist is unable to provide pain killers. When the dentist reached out to derry medical and shared my medical info to see if they could help, they refused to to give my dentist permission for a short term pain script. I have experienced nothing but despair and suicidal thoughts since then while everyone is off for the 4th. Their in house therapist David is all over the place as well and will schedule you, but when you show up no one is there and you're appointment was never on record. When I needed to reschedule though, they made sure that I paid a late fee to them. Their own therapist needs a therapist for himself just to his job. Derry medical and its political self centered doctors and staff are some of the worst people you will ever come across in the medical field. Called twice, they never returned call, nor told me they were referring me to another place after 10 days. I had to call them back only to get told they referred it out. Message through message center was incorrect. Another family member did not get results for ultrasound for over a week. Poor communication. When spoke to manager, manager didn't even call me by my correct name and then ended up hanging up on me. Are they getting too large to be able to handle actually CARING for people??? Very disappointed in the way they're handling patients these days. Any way to make this a zero? To start, the level of care provided by Dr. Sawyer and Dr. Fox are the BEST. HOWEVER, the administration, specifically the Refill Dept, have to be the worst entity I have ever tried to deal with. While Klara gives me nice answers, issues are not resolved. EXAMPLE 1: In the first week of January 2024, I notified DMC that my insurance will no longer cover a brand name drug and even provided the drug that they will cover. In early Feb, they tried to submit the old drug to the insurance, which was rejected. Of course it was. Still, DMC Refill has not addressed this. EXAMPLE 2: DMC is beyond awful in processing Prior Authorizations for drugs when requested by the insurance company. I will be leaving DMC shortly. read more

You simply cannot make this up! After having been misdiagnosed or rather not diagnosed at all one week ago and having been treated like a number but not a person, I received a phone call TODAY, one week later confirming that I did not have the flue!!!!!! I was put on a random antibiotic as I guess that is what they do there when they do not know what to do which did not make me feel much better at all. After receiving the "no flue" call this morning they were able to give me a 6:30pm appointment with a different provider as per my request as to quote Einstein: " Insanity is to do the same thing over and over and expect different results." As per last weeks disaster check in, I actually received a text message with proper instructions at where to park and how to check in for my rapid test. I arrived at 5:55pm and my test was done in a timely fashion. I was called back at 6:20pm and asked to walk inside to check in which I did immediately, my co pay of $5 is proof of it and the paper I was handed and suppose to hand to the nurse. At 6:49 pm I was still sitting in the waiting room together with 4 other people of whom 2 arrived after me .....The same nurse I saw one week ago comes walking out telling me that I am not checked in and that I should check in at the counter ?????!!!!!!!!!! Really!!!!! Receipt in hand and medical paperwork in hand I must have just walked in and sat down all by myself and ran my credit card , filled out the paperwork and conducted my own rapid test !!!!!!! Needless to say that I had the foresight to get up and leave before I was being acused of anything else and continued to be assaulted. I will make sure that this behavior will get more attention than just a google and yelp review but hopefully I can help other people from getting treated at this facility by the extremely incompetent staff ! read more

I just tried to call dmc in concord to make an appt and I was denied health care because Supposedly there is am outstanding balance from ten years ago. I was informed my insurance 10 years didn't pay my bill. I have never not paid my bills and if my insurance denied the claim from 10 years ago! I was never sent a bill! How can they deny me health care from 10 years ago. This is such a disappointment in health care. I will not pay a bill from 10 years ago that I have no idea what happened. My Doctor at DMC Is amazing with great care and empathy for their clients. With that said the Business side of DMC is disgustingly insensitive and cold. I was seeing someone through the mental health part of the center for loss of a child, this was all done via telehealth and virtual therapy visits. the reception stopped calling to collect copayment and a racked up a small bill of a little over 100 dollars. I did not know there was a balance and would have gladly paid it as soon as I knew. they blocked my account shut down my therapy sessions with zero notice and today 6 months later I go to make an appointment due to level 10 sciatica pain and I am met with the collections department as if I am a criminal, treated like garbage. I have used DMC for over 10 years and if it were not for the 3 people I trust with my health and life over there I WOULDNT BE GOING. there has to be some values and moral when running a MEDICAL OFFICE. treating someone who has been a patient for over a decade like crap over a 100 dollar bill that you never collected or sent notice too is morally wrong, all it would take is a call saying Hey we noticed you have a past due balance would you mind taking care of that. ESCPEICIALY when said patient is seen more that 5 times a month most months for 10 years. Husband loves his doctor however the administrative staff has to be the worst. My husband went in today for blood work so that he would have the results for his doctor's appointment next week. He gets to the lab and surprise, surprise they had to call DMC to get the referral. Same thing ALWAYS happens with his prescription refills. Derry Medical Center only cares about money, not patients. If you don't bring your full copay with you to your appointment, you won't be seen (no matter if your eye is avulsed). Then, they'll miscode your visit when putting it through Medicare for an exorbitant amount, leaving you with a balance you didn't even know about. Then, you call to be seen about a suspicious lump and they say nope we won't see you until you pay your balance. State laws mean nothing to them as well, since the statute of limitations on debt collection is 3 years in NH and they are currently refusing to let me be seen for a balance that is now over 5 years old that I had no idea about. I've filed a complaint with the NH Attorney General which is pending. Shame on DMC for caring more about money than people. read more

I really like my provider, but good luck ever getting anyone from the office to call you back. I have to call sometimes for days to get lab results, etc. So frustrating when you're sick! I have been going to Londonderry Family Practice for about 15 years specifically to see one doctor. The front desk staff has always been rude. One time I was there for a quick follow up appointment and the office was running late like it always is. I was on time with my 6 month old daughter. A women came in 20 min late for her appointment and they decided to bump mine out and say they are now running 45 minutes late! I ended up leaving. But like I said, I stuck with this practice for one particular dr who is amazing. But then this happened... I recently moved to Virginia and requested my medical records for my husband and I sent directly to us while we try to find a new doctor. I opened my packet and mixed in were two other patients'... that's right... two other patients' Derry Imaging results!!!! I couldn't even believe it. This lack of detail is unacceptable! Went to the new one in Bedford. Nice building and thats it. The reception people are awful, rude and condecending. I went to several appointments here had to wait a minimum of at least 30 minutes past my appt. time. once I was there for 50 minutes. I got up and left. No apologies. I can here the doctors and nurses have a great time outside the room though. No consideration for other peoples time. Just moved to the Elliott family practice and happy so far. Quick to get in and get a same day appointment but good luck getting the results of testing. I had to call 6 times to finally get a nurse to call me back. When sent for further testing I have so far called once and sent messages to my doctor and her nurse with no response. I love and trust this practice. I have been seeing Dr. Sarah Murai for almost 20 years. She has taken care of all 5 of in our family. She is absolutely amazing. We have seen her for everything from regular checkups, colds, asthma, basically every health related problem both adults, children and teenager could have. She doesn't hesitate to refer you to a specialist or order testing that is needed. We have seen many other health practitioners in the practice and have always had a good experience. I trust Dr. Murai and the staff. read more

Despite positive experiences with the doctors, I've now had two very unpleasant phone calls with the receptionists, one of which I think is named Holly. She completely lacks empathy and was very rude and abrupt to me on the phone. I called yesterday to try and get antibiotics to which she coldly replied "you have to make an appointment". I've had drs prescribe antibiotics for me before without seeing me and I'm currently in such discomfort I physically can not make it in to see them today. She didn't even bother looking up my account. I called again to try and talk to someone new who said they'd leave a message with a dr and get back to me which I appreciated. I understand they have a protocol to follow but that protocol should also include bedside manner. read more

BEWARE!! DMC is a terrible doctor's office with absolutely zero care for their patients. I went in with horrible lower back and pelvic spasms.. Long story short, I got x-rays and an mri on my lower back, after spending over 4 months (including 6 weeks of pt, that didn't work) and $800 after insurance for all of this, my doctor never called me back with any of my results, not the x-rays or mri, I had to call after weeks of not hearing anything. And was still not called in to go over the results I paid all that money for (to this day still have not seen my x-ray or MRI scans). All I was told was "doctor said they look normal" over the portal by some assistant. PLEASE do not bring children there, they truly do not give a sh*t, just read the other comments. Also, stay away from Dr. JUSTIN PLAUM, this man pretends to care but 100% does not at all. Never called me back 1 time in 6 months with any results or options on what I can do, told me I'm not allowed to talk to him on the phone about anything, and I have to go in or message some assistant on the portal, even if I just have a simple question or what to discuss my results (EGO maniac).. Extreme entitlement complex, disgusted with the service and have already changed primary care doctors. On top of that, this man actually told me (a patient in exteme pain) he would not touch or examine my body because I didn't have a booster shot... Lol, yes, that is 100% accurate, a real "doctor" told his patient he wouldn't examaine them because they were only fully vaxed and didn't have a booster. Welcome to the most pathetic and hypocritical world we've ever lived in... I will never be back to anywhere associated with Derry Medical Center. Derry Imaging (associated with DMC) is also terrible, STAY AWAY as well! Extreme incompetence. When I got an x-ray on my back it cost 300$ after insurance, they took 1 picture (literally) and it was over in about 5 seconds (I thought, well that's odd but hey, what do I know).. Turns out they didn't even photograph the last 2 vertebrae on my spine, my chiropractor was baffled considering that's most likely where the pain is stemming from. Then, when I went to get the MRI, no one was there, I showed up to a building with the lights off, I went next door and told a lady in the other medical building (she also looked baffled) she said she would check on it and 10 minutes after my appointment was scheduled someone finnaly showed up.. This has to be one of the best doctor's offices I have ever been to. Before I was going to a doctor's office in Salem, NH and had an AWFUL experience. When I was venting to a friend, she said she used to go there too, had an awful experience and changed to Derry Medical Center in 2011 and fell in love. After having such a terrible experience in Salem, I was skeptical about getting a new doctor. All I can say is, I am kicking myself for not switching my PCP to Derry Medical Center sooner!! The office is located in a big building with everything you could need. Eye, ear, lab services, x-rays, dermatology, cardiology, dietitians and so much more. Its literally a one stop shop. The women at the front desk are so professional and efficient. They answer the phones, return phone calls, will ask my doctor a question for me and call me back the same day with an answer. My previous doctors office barely answered the phone and you would never get a call back. They send email reminders and phone calls so I never miss an appointment. They have long hours so I can always get an appointment. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for an appointment. Usually I walk in right on time or less than 5 minutes from my scheduled appointment. Once I'm in my own room, my doctor is usually in within minutes. I see Dr. Elisa Mercuro and she is great! My appointment is never rushed. I can sit there and ask her the most random questions about my health and my body and she will take her time and answer everything so thoroughly. I highly recommend Dr. Elisa Mercuro. She really knows her stuff and I am so happy I switched my PCP. read more

Went to schedule an appt for my hubby and was told there is a $5.00 balance.... ok can I pay with his co-pay for this appt. The receptionist was very polite and super friendly for the record. I was then transferred to their billing office and a woman starts a speech that sounds like she says it multiple times a day. I ask her not to speak to me like a debt collector and she starts to talk over me and I verified ok so let me just verify here.... your saying you refuse to see a patient over $5.00. Yes that is correct we have sent you 4 letter(Letters which we have not received and he has been seen since the time she claims the balance originated). I ended the call at that point. $5.00 damn dollars, they could of refused to see him if he didn't bring it lol. They didn't use to conduct business like that... I have no problem with Derry medical itself, but I suggest strongly that you don't use their pain management nurse!!! I went to her every month for 16 months and told her every month that my lower back and legs were getting weaker, even with xrays that showed issues after a serious fall, she was on her every day power trip that she had control over all her patients. She has horrible bedside manners, she doesn't listen to or respect you in anyway. Shes down right mean at times, even though I followed all "her rules". I finally went to a new pain management place, and in the very first visit, he told me my problem, requested an MRI and on my second visit, it was quite obvious from the MRI that I'm past due for surgery. So he quickly got everything in order for me to see the surgeon, to fix everything that she just ignored. If you require pain management, run far, run fast because she doesn't care at all about her patients. As far as shes concerned, all your pain is in your brain and you can magically make it disappear. Her only goal is control over people that have very real issues. Please go with your second choice if you truly need help! I can't say it any clearer!!! read more

If I could give this hospital no stars, I would. Although the secretaries sound kind and helpful, the doctors the speak for are junk. Or at least Dr. Rebecca Krasnof is an awful Doctor. She has zero consideration for her patients. She has no patience and does not pay any attention to their needs. She has shown me and my family (multiple patients of hers) all zero help with issues that have arrived. It was so bad that we would keep our problems to ourselves in fear of having to pay a copay to see her for nothing, no advice or help in anyway. I am switching all of us to another hospital just because the fact that they hired her for all these years is baffling.
