I absolutely love going here for some retail therapy. As a matter of fact I just went today and found some really great things.

A solid three star spot. Smaller. Has carpet so the noise is damped, seems less chaotic, and the parking lot is well kept. The haul: two sizeable faux mercury glass pieces for the mantle, set of 100% fitting king size pillow cases, a couple of coffee table books in good shape. I bought an alarm clock here with FM radio because I was in town and my kiddo and I were going to the drive-in movies and I saw that it had a backup battery. Perfect! A woman who worked there took it in the back and returned saying it worked but suggested I buy a new battery. Sticker price was $2. Bought a new battery for it, but when we got to the theater we realized the backup battery actually doesn't work. If it was $2, no biggie. Looked at my card statement today and saw that I was charged $7, not $2. Not worth the cost of gas to drive all the way up North again. Won't be going back. read more

I almost didn't even want to review this one. It is my absolute favorite DI in the intermountain west. Many, many adventures have been had here including two experiences where I stalked goods and/or people in order to make certain items mine, because they have such an abundance of fantastic items here. Always. This is the DI where I once stopped in the morning and saw a vintage sideboard in the donation area and tried to bribe a worker with a $50 bill to just load it in my car. He wouldn't, so I went back that afternoon and it was on the sales floor but someone had taken the ticket off of it to buy it. Don't worry, I asked EVERYONE in the store who was holding a ticket if it was for that.... Because I was prepared to pay them cash for the little ticket in order to be able to purchase the sideboard myself. I found the lady. I showed her that I had taken a picture of the piece earlier in the day and that I needed it. She told me I was insane but obviously serious, and she just thought she was picking up a $15 dresser but obviously it meant more than that to me. I didn't even have to pay her for the ticket, she just gave it to me. Probably so I would shut up and leave her alone. That sideboard's name is Sadie and she lives in my living room. read more

I went in today from 5:10-5:30ish on 1-22-2020. I had just gotten off work from firehouse (clothes kind of dirty from flour from making food) walked over to the D.I. which is in the same parking lot as my work. I go in there after work every once in a while to find fun fix me up projects to bring home. I had just gotten paid yesterday so I thought today would be a good day to find a project. I didn't find anything interesting so I went to walk out. As I was walking out, the two ladies running the cash registers called me a thief and accused me of stealing. Is it really okay for this business to judge someone by the way they look and out loud call them names and accuse them of things? I was in shock. I had no response. I wish I could have gathered myself to go back in and talk to their manager in person. I just walked home upset and confused. read more

I love this DI! What a great store. My only complaint would be that all the things seem to be previously owned. That doesn't bother me though since I like their prices. read more

Clean store, nicely organized, and friendly staff! We popped in killing time before lunch at Maddox down the road and found some treasures (books, mostly). read more
