I went in and picked my granite, picked my cupboards, picked my sink. I was told I was going too dark but I didn't listen (thankfully) My husband and I took everything out. Demolished everything but the old laminate flooring. After we took the cupboards down and appliances out, there wasn't much of the floor left. The existing cupboards and the appliances didn't have the laminate under them. Going back to the design, knowing that within a small space things were limited, had to keep the stove where it was and so on. He told me the dimensions of the cupboards and counter tops, cool, what do I know of dimensions, but didn't take in the fact that I would be living on step stools and ladders. It wasn't as if they didn't realize I am 5 ft 2 inches tall. They were designing from scratch, I guess I should have said, hey, I'm short, so while you are making everything out of reach for me, could you also raise the counter tops 2 inches higher. When I said something about everything being out of reach he told me, everybody has it like this. The arguing between us, I mention something he said he was going to do and him saying, no I didn't say that. I, from the start, wanted the kitchen blocked off from the living room. He was going to put a nice cupboard in the living room that would have had cupboard space in the kitchen, the installer said that would not be practical, so I opted for a butcher block, they happened to have one in the shop. I don't know why they put the fact that I was having my nephew build shelves on the butcher block, into the final bill. What I do after kitchen is complete is my business. They charged $2000.00 for demolishing the floor. The guy doing the job actually spent most of his time on the phone. My husband would come out every time he heard him stop, and he was on the phone, look guilty and start working again. It took 4 people to install my floor. While one was installing, one was cutting, the other 2 stood around while the snow melted off their boots onto my living room carpet. 4 people and they couldn't quite get the carpet to match up between the kitchen and living room. Great Basin did send someone to remedy that and they did a fine job. The pantry, as seen in the photo, well, I don't understand that. I wasn't good enough to finish putting in the screws? (see attached photo, don't mind the coffee, had an accident) I love my colors is the best thing I can say. I did not shop around. I took them at their word. If someone asks for recommendations, Great Basin Granite will be one I say to stay away from. oh, and what was up with calling me to say you're going to text me to set up an appointment. After the second call and I say ok, tomorrow at 1, and no you can't do that and then...never get that text. They sent someone with the 4 floor installers to "interpret" cause they didn't speak English, well, she didn't speak Spanish and the installers did it their way. so, take a look at the pictures and decide for yourselves.

Well, we had the tile and grout for out big entry way. They sent a guy to tile while the other guy…read morewas trying to carpet at the same time after weeks of delaying and changing our install dates. Grout all over the pad, he grouted while the mortar was still wet, he did not dry fit the tile so they do not look uniform, the tile are all uneven, the grout lines are uneven, some skinny some wide, tile are set crooked, mortar oozed out of the grout, they tried redoing the grout and it still was showing, the Schluter edge was 1/4 inch higher on one piece then the other piece! My husband had to grind the sharp edge sticking up down. But the worst is that he cut our tile to go AROUND the doorway casings! Not under the trim and casing, but AROUND and tried to make it blend in with grout onto the casing! They owe us $250 for the mess and still haven't paid us 4 weeks later!

I worked with Jon Bailey from March 2020 until August 2020. Seems short, right? It was a tumultuous…read moreenough relationship to leave a lasting impression. Jon Bailey rented me and 3 other college students a condo in Incline Village. We met in person, signed a lease, and proceeded to move into the house. 4 months later, in mid August, we received a text message from Mr. Bailey stating that we had received complaints from the neighbors about noise, so he was not renewing the lease at the end of September. Ok, seemed reasonable. TWO DAYS later, some random person knocked on the door and handed us a poorly photo copied piece of paper stating that we had FIVE DAYS to vacate the house, or else we would not get our security deposit back and we would be forcibly removed from the property. Mr. Bailey then proceeded to tell us that he had potential buyers coming to look at the house, so we needed the entire property to be viewing ready before the end of August. If this was not completed, we would be charged for a number of things including future months rent and no security deposit return. This quick change in situation and severity led to panic among us in the house. We complied with Mr Baileys request, and vacated the property before August 31st, AMID THE RAGING GLOBAL PANDEMIC. In the following months, Mr. Bailey has repeatedly harassed members of the household stating that there were damages to the house totaling in over 5,000 that we needed to pay, even though he was present for a walkthrough with a house member (a recording of the situation is available), where he stated nothing of the sort. He also has harassed members of the house with vicious text messages about dog abuse that NEVER occurred, and accused us of locking a dog in the garage for months at a time. There are before and after pictures of the house and the way we treated in throughout the our entire stay and NOTHING of the sort ever occurred. Mr. Bailey has also sent text messages saying that our security deposit check has been mailed back to us, only to send another text 2 days later saying he is going to keep it due to damages. Confusing, right? Did you send the check or didn't you? In conclusion, if you want a realtor who will go back on every statement he makes, accuse you of untrue damages to the property in an attempt so scam you out of money, and accuse you of dog abuse in some kind of intimidation attempt, Jon Bailey is your guy. I have absolutely no doubt that Jon Bailey took advantage of a group of college students in an attempt to scare and scam us. I am confident that Mr. Baileys actions have been extremely illegal and would not be defendable in court. Jon Bailey forced 4 college students to frantically search for housing, amid the pandemic. He forced 4 Incline Village Community members to spread across the country to their family homes because of the housing shortage in Incline. I, Myself, had to travel back home to West Virginia to stay with my mother for 6 weeks while I searched for other housing in Incline. My personal recommendation: DO NOT TRUST Jon Bailey or any of his coworkers. We were scammed and abused by this company and its constituents.
