There were many problems with…read moreworkmanship in the interior, including areas where they painted over dust, drywall finishing issues, paint smears on the floors, cracked or damaged woodwork, cracked/missing grout, etc.; we've purchased new homes before and this didn't feel like one. To their credit, RL Workman has been responsive in patching many of these issues, though it still doesn't look like a new house since that would require modeling rather than patching. For other issues, they've been very obstinate, as if they hoped to wear us down rather than doing the right thing. Over the course of living in the house for six months, we've come to realize that the design is not great: the laundry room is tiny, but there's a pointlessly wide hallway on the other side of the wall; the door from the garage opens into the laundry room, which makes 1/4 of the room unusable; the A/C is right next to one bedroom window making it impossible to sleep there; outlets and wall switches aren't conveniently placed (in some cases, we can't hang artwork because there's a switch in the middle of a wall!); the shower stall in the master bedroom is beyond low-end; there's nothing dividing the master suite into sections, so the bathroom and sleeping area are just one big room; the door to the master bedroom is in the middle of the dining room; the outside lighting fixtures create unnecessary glare and light pollution, ruining the feel of the neighborhood.

Then they didnt get a permit (I thought they did) so a stop work order happened and instead of dealing with that, they had a vacation planned (and I understand that but they could have started the permit or did it online instead of not doing anything at all and blaming me everytime we talked) then when they got back they wouldn't be able to come back to finish the work till August. I hired another company to finish. They were not impressed with the starting of the wall as it was crooked and bearly deep enough.

Today is 19 June 2026 and we had to terminate them. Their work was far below grade; painting was sloppy; corners cut wherever they could...as they fell further behind, the work became progressively worse. I'm embarrassed to have visitors over until we get things fixed and done the right way. When I pointed out all the crappy work, the owner just became mad and refused to communicate again. The work then slowed even more. The owner then sent a text saying he would be finished and out on Wednesday, the 17th. There is still at least a week's worth of work left. I would NEVER use these guys again!

After seeing the incredible job he did painting the walls of our development, we asked for a bid to paint our house. Best decision ever! Kenny's team doesn't just paint houses--he elevates them. Their attention to detail, work ethic, and top-notch execution are something you don't see every day. And Kenny brings an "elite" philosophy that goes way beyond slapping on a coat of paint. He power-washed our patio, washed our windows (yes, really), painted our wrought iron gates, painted our security door, and even painted our pergola and built-in grill pedestal--all included, no extra charge. Honestly, if I were a local painter, I'd be taking notes (or maybe trying to hire him).
