From chores to cooking - staying in the house aids you with important life & interpersonal skills. The scope of The Clinical Director and the staffs understanding of this field is profound. They handle life in the present and only looks's ahead. Scottsdale Providence provides empathy, a sophisticated set of interpersonal skills, acts with a sense of urgency, constructive self-insights and encouragement. The staff helped me build a structured treatment plan to initiate helpful growth, strength and a realistic recovery. Although the action is up to you, the therapists equip you with a foundation full Of resources to build upon. They work on your inner strengths and challenge your weaknesses. They offer constructive feedback and are quick to tell you what you need to hear - not what you want to hear. The staff overall truly have your best interest at heart and want to see you succeed. They provided me with a sense of care and safety in being vulnerable. The staff is efficient in they're approach and steadfast to being consistent & professional. Thus far, treatment here has been a remarkably empowering and fortifying experience. They're recognition and approach have pulled me up from darkness into an optimistic state. Going to treatment here has given me hope, direction, and the opportunity to identify what I need to do to live a sober life. Recovery is possible (if you want to be sober) and being a client here has given me that chance. Scottsdale Providence has offered me a life-changing experience; that will put me back on the path to a positive, healthy, and sober life I so dearly have in front of me. In other words, I strongly recommend this treatment center if you're ready to get sober, honest and are willing to do the work.

In 7 weeks they never gave me therapy notes as requested, didn't have my medication for a week, I did not meet with a therapist every week, they tried to deny my service animal and affiliated programs did the same. Illegally. Never got EMDR. Was told not to hug or text clients. Missed appointments due to mistakes in transportation. Almost no free time. And the entire program is based on AA. It is mandated if you live in their housing, not optional.

Horrible place. Think twice before going here or having a loved one stay here. My son was there…read morefor 2 weeks - the staff were unprofessional and not trained to care for anyone. I paid over $3,000 deposit and since he left early, I have over $2,000 credit they owe me. I have called more than 12 times to get this resolved. They told me once back in October (it is end of December) they had to "rebill" my insurance but now everytime I call, it goes to voicemail and nobody ever calls me back. I THINK THEY ARE GOING BANKRUPT. Don't waste your time or money.

His review: He said it wasn't bad, other than they never had a after care plan put in place for him ahead of him being discharged. Not to mention, he was in the middle of a Suboxone taper when they said his insurance would no longer cover his stay. He was supposed to do the full 28 days but was only there 2 and1/2 weeks. At 10 am one morning they told him to pack his stuff and by 1:00 he was discharged. No appeal to the insurance company. Even though my son told them he was not ready to be released. He felt they did not fight for him to stay. He was starting the withdrawal symptoms of coming off of the Suboxone. Needless to say, he was given a box of Suboxone, a few other medications and a phone number for their IOP program and a certificate of completion. Then they left him to figure out what to do next. My review: Who in the hell knowing anything about addiction does this????? I have delt with many rehab facilities in the past. This one, by far was the worst in providing any kind of aftercare support, not to mention, they never return phone calls to say the least. I left several messages for my son's case manager to call me. In case he was discharged early so we could come up with a plan. Not once did I ever receive a call back. NOT ONCE!!! Though my son had signed a full release of medical release to me. I never had any information on how his recovery was going. I had read many reviews of family members complaining about this very same issue as well. I thought maybe things had changed after these complaints were filed. I guess not. This facility is nice and from what my son said the staff were caring, but they are not trained enough to fight for their patients who need to be there as long as the program suggests, and also aren't trained in communication with family members to ensure their loved ones have a discharge plan. Needless to say, my son relapsed within 4 days of leaving here. He checked into another rehab where I hope he gets the proper care he needs.

You should always try to go to a Medical Doctor anyways. They're passionate and driven to succeed with more experience under their belt. My MD diagnosed me correctly within 2 weeks compared to the 2 years I was with Kaithe (Highly endorse Denova for their MDs) 2. Dr. Kaithe is very lazy with her diagnosis' even when cognitive behavioral therapists can provide intricate notes of obvious disability symptoms 3. Dr. Kaithe is too prideful and cocky to accept a middle ground for medication. When you don't feel well she either dichotomously goes full throttle with medication to the point of giving patients addictions to medications, causing withdrawals, or not cooperating and causing you to regress. 4. She is very stingy and doesn't accept many common insurance types. And she charged excessively for things like doctor's notes. TLDR, she should have her license revoked. She has no idea what she's doing. She will find reason's to fire you too. Although this may seem like blatant defamation, I warn you to be cautious given my 3 years of working with her.

My disposition and mental wellness was suffering and my only recourse was to go to the emergency room with severe illness resulting from the new medication. I know medications for mental health conditions can be difficult, but I don't believe she paid enough attention to my history or lack of progress between appointments. I won't trust her again with my medical care and am seeking another provider and also looking into the possibility that I may be dealing with a thyroid condition causing or increasing the depression.
